epic session there j those prawnz certainly brain em, big flatty good bream good times💪🏻
on the drift fishing, hope you're finding a few... this was a fun little session and I was stoked to get stuck into them and get out before it went insane with the public holiday ;) Fish on!
What an awesome session! I need to get my hands on some of them.
Fishing with Thamma, they are fun to fish and the fish eat them really well. Hope you get stuck into a few soon. Cheers, Justin
Great vid Justin, top lure. One of my go to’s now!
Cheers
Clint
Thanks for the kind words Clint. Stoked to see you guys getting the clients onto some great fish on the PrawnZ and ST GrubZ. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
Hey Justin, great clip mate. I going to get me some of these tomorrow, I'm thinking rigged weedless for the bream in the sticks and the upper reaches.
Hey Wayne, they definitely rig well weedless. I have fished them on the NedlockZ EWG and also the #2 TT SnakelockZ Finesse. Good call though, I should do a full weedless vid on them. Hope you get stuck into a few in the structure, good fun! Cheers, Justin
awesome video champion, epic session in the shallows, what colour would you use in dirty chocolate coloured water, as we have in Sydney Parramatta River, at the moment, I've got the pumpkin , Houdini, and opening night colours, going out tomorrow morning to use them, love these videos, great work mate,
Hey Anthony, I know the chocolate water feeling, it can get pretty brown around my local waters. You are spot on with the Pumpkin and the Houdini has a good silhouette and some UV reactive qualities. I would probably add a Dirty Oil as that's my favourite in dirty water, especially when fishing around weed. Hope you have a fun session and find a few fish. Cheers, Justin
Great session Justin, hope Nan liked the flatty. Is this at Toorbul?
Wow what a session and what a great prawn lure. What colour is it?
Was it called opening night?
Any chance you can do more land based fishing
I like the look of the Black Mamba, nice to see it comes in spin now. I bought an ITX yesterday and Im really impressed with it so far. I first saw your rods on @DrewMinto and they look like great value for money. Im going to pick some up when I get to Australia in the next couple of months.
Hey Rocket Creations, Hope all's well and cool to hear you picked up an ITX, nice piece of kit and great value. I am building a collection of Red Belly and Black Mamba rods. They are both awesome, with the Red Belly a little softer in the tip and the Black Mamba a little punchier in the tip. I hope it is fishing bringing you to Australia and you get stuck into a few soon. All the best. Cheers, Justin
what colour is the ZMan 2.5" PrawnZ ?
Hey @RobertMuscatello, Hope all's well and you're finding a fish. For this session I was fishing the Opening Night colour, a clear, natural colour, with plenty of flash and a favourite in clear water and bright conditions. Other favourites include Blood Oil in dirty water and low light conditions and Houdini as a bit of an all rounder. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
@@tackletacticstv7687 Hi Justin, thanks for the response and I am so much looking forward to giving the lure a go and have already bought them. What size jig head are you using? ta Rob
Hey @RobertMuscatello I commonly fish the ZMan 2.5" PrawnZ on a TT HeadlockZ Finesse jighead in a 1/0 hook size, in a 1/8oz for fishing super shallow and over weed, or a 1/4oz for generally flats and edges fishing. (You can run a TT HeadlockZ Finesse UV or DemonZ if you want a painted head). If you're just getting into fishing, targeting heavy structure or for another reason would prefer a heavy wire hook, then I would go a TT HeadlockZ HD in the same weights, but in a size 1 hook. Awesome to hear you're going to give the PrawnZ a run, it's a favourite of mine and you will see it in action again in this week's video, dropping Thursday afternoon. Fish on! Cheers, Justin
Handy Video, I just won so much z-man stuff from Anglers Warehouse in tweed!!
Congrats, that's awesome! Hope you get stuck into a few soon. Cheers, Justin
Geez the deck of your kayak’s pretty busy
