I notice for myself, when I go back to places I’ve lived with new people/people who are part of my current reality and weren’t part of my life when I lived in said place, it starts to feel more real that I no longer live there because I’m reminded of the new things in my life ✨💞 it’s so normal to need to process though! You’ve had so many changes happen!! Love all your vlogs!

I loved your la vlogs which is how I found you. Something about you walking places and living life as an LA girl always appealed to me which is how and why I got your videos across my feed, happy your back. But also happy for you to do what works for you and your living situation.

The total game changer for me sleeping in hotels and strange places was putting my linen+pillow spray in a travel size bottle. Bonus points if it’s similarly scented to your softener/detergent-hope this helps someone!
it's nice to see both your worlds blend together. your very lucky to have great friends like sarah accompany you on your trip. i know transitioning from old life/new life will take time to get used to, but it does get better in the end with a new routine 😊

About the farty smells - Whenever a place have that smell it can be the plumming.... The waterlocks in the sinks, bathtub/shower may have been dried out - and then comes the smell. It usually goes away if you run the water for a minute or two and maybe flush the toliet....

The “new apartment tour” was confusing and I was sitting here the whole time going did she get a fully furnished apartment. Easy mistake to make based on the title of the video
@@lilbrit1811 how? It was quite obvious she’s only staying for a week. She even said previously she got when she THOUGHT she was staying for 10 days and now won’t need the huge kitchen to cook meals bc she’s staying for less time

I stayed in the Loews hotel in Santa Monica while I was there doing a Telus commercial. It was BEAUTIFUL.
Hi Tara! Don't hem the pants! They look like linen pants and linen shrinks A LOT on the first wash, that's why the make them so long, so there's room for them to shrink in the wash without turning into children size pants haha. Hope it helps!

When I need to measure where to hem my pants, I put them on inside out. That way I can fold them up and pin them. I know it a weird way to do it but it works for me every time.😅
I love how chilled you are with delays and packing. I am a stress ball when I travel
For the mattress you can always ask what type of mattress they use! My mom did that with their mattress after staying at one hotel

Hi Tara I am like that also, its because you feel the energy around you, like everyone does but you are more sensitive to it, to your inner changes etc, so if you journal about it on nights or days, it will be easier to process it all!
I’m 5’0 and only buy pants from American eagle… definitely limits your options but they actually fit. Haven’t found another store that actually fits yet.
Ugh last summer I had a 5 hour delay in a really small airport. They ended up running out of food and water while it was about 35°C outside..
A bird flew into the motor and they had to fly out a mechanic from Italy to fix it😩😒

I hope you are applying for AC's delay compensation. If the landing is more than 4 hours, you should be eligible for compensation. When I did it a few weeks ago, it took about 2 weeks to get my compensation
I applied and they denied it!!! sooo annoying
On the plus side if any pants need to be shortened, they can be shortened. It's when they are too short that there is a problem. I'm plus sized and their standard pants length is 2 inches too short. A 29 inch leg length. but the pants that actually have talls are still standard tall lengths 33 inches. I'm average height. I have to buy talls when they are available and hem them or buy regulars take out the hem and hem with bias tape to add an inch or two.

Look into invisible hem tape. Not sure what it's actually called but it's like a roll of tape that's not sticky and you use it to hem just place it like you would hem and then use a iron over it and it a quick easy way to hem pants
Pour some water in the drains .....might be the dry pipes causing the smell ;)
If it’s linen pants then you need to make sure to fit you dry your pants it will shrink. I made the mistake of not making it longer for that 😢
You need a mattress topper! I got a new mattress but also a 3" memory foam topper and it's... heaven.

I feel you with the pants. I'm different though, I tend to carry all my weight in my belly so every time I get pants that fit my waist they're long as hell it's annoying!! Like just because Im all belly means I'm 9 feet tall?? 🤣
