LONDON VLOG!!! ughhhh such a great trip with my family, so glad to have these vlogs to remember our trips for years to come 😭 what content do you want to see from me at home in Toronto!?!?
Maybe finally tackle the picture frames in your room and some painting and art projects ❤ I recently got back to drawing and art and I almost forgot how serene it is 🪴
I second the tackling of picture frames, I know the struggle, mine were the same for 2 years. I would also love to see a reset and I'm sure it's much needed after months of being away from home
it's amazing to watch your family just being a family. you know? it's so rare for parents to be friends of their children like this. it's so rare for parents to be married this days hahah I watch this and it's my whole life goal: one day being 50/60 years old, still happily married, with two beautiful and independent children, traveling around the world. oh wow, just goals
Hi Tara, I'm 76 yrs young and living MY best life through you!! You really have the best family and life any gal could hope for. Looking forward to so much more for you! Just keep doing you.
Tara, I really enjoyed this vlog. Your editing is on fire this year, and I loved all the different perspectives. London through your eyes looks amazing, and I can’t wait for you to live there for a while! Also, I adore how much you appreciate the food and drinks.
Went to London in the winter, was inspired by your solo trip to take my own. And I love how I recognized so many of the places you visited! I can’t wait to go back one day!
This is one of your most epic vlogs! It is inconceivable the amount of ground you cover and the sheer number of sites. Bravo Massicotes! I'm so pleased you film, fantastic memories 💜💜💜
I’ve been living in London for 13 years and lived in Notting Hill specifically for 10 years and it was the best decade ever. Love that area… highly recommend… and you should definitely experience the Notting Hill carnival in August. Also, tip for when you’re back: you have to book sky garden even though it’s free. They open up slots three weeks in advance and they fill up fast - also recommend booking for sunset time 😍
Went to London last summer and fell in love! I’m from LA and a huge traveler so I have a lot to compare to but exactly what you said: London felt like home. I hope to move there as well!
My family is the EXACT same as Tara’s on vacation, I’m like Tara, always wearing my best cloths on the vaca, my parents are like hers, bundling up and always freezing. And my sibling are like jay, they just want to relax the whole vacation, but still love sight seeing 😭😭😭
I love living vicariously through you European vlogs. I will probably never be able to go but someday I wish to. I really also want to see Italy and Ireland. So glad you and family has such a wonderful trip!
I hope your brother felt better before flying home. I have heard that flying and not feeling well is not fun at all. It looks like you all had such a wonderful time.😊
My husband and I are going back next year to celebrate turning 30 and being together for 10 years!! I was telling him allll about seeing Sketch, Tom Riddles grave, the HP tour!! We went to Edinburgh and London 5 years ago when we got married but your videos have me DYING to go back!
first of all: SNEAKY FAM!!!! second of all: I'm excited to see you enjoying London and creating your favorite routines while being in a whole new country, you remind me of a chamaleon that adapts everywhere, it looks so cool
Notting Hill is my favourite part of London! It is so cozy, the buildings are pretty, the view on top on the hill is amazing and you have lovely places to eat and drink 🥰
I love your travel vlogs! I love that you include the names of the places that you go because I’m taking notes of things to see and places to eat for future travel plans 😊
Aww I remember seeing your insta story, I left London the day you arrived🥲 I had the best 4 days exploring, London is one of my favourite places in the world. Glad you had a fab trip🥰
What a great trip! So many neat places. When you were showing some, I mentioned before my boss was from Scotland. We learned so much from her. The taste of their chocolate is so completely differently from ours. Thanks for taking us along and sharing it with us. It was awesome!
I love London, never been there, but it just seems like a magical place. lol Anyway, Queen Victoria also lived in Kinsington Palace she was born in the Dining room there because hot water was accessed easier in 1819. I'm not British, I have British heritage, and I'm also a history buff. My favorite topic is British History.
I'm going to London and Scotland in a month and your vlogs make me so excited!! Definitely going to try some of the same restaurants and sight seeing 💜
When you move to the UK you should totally check out Chester if you like seeing really historic architecture. We have excavated Roman baths and a Roman amphitheatre, a cathedral that dates back to the 1100's, and a lot of Tudor buildings - it's super historic! 💗
TARA! You should defo check out the West of London, Fulham/ Chiswick areas are SO CUTE but also around 30 mins away from Central so theyre the perfect mix of cute calm family life vibes and city life! As always, LOVE the vlogs and really hope to bump into you next time you’re in London cos you genuinely feel like a friend as odd as that might sound haha😅
Hey Tara, In London nearby Piccadilly there's whole foods! And you can go to the supermarket but also get some food there! It's awesome I suggest you to try it. Also Nando's is the typical place where you get chicken and fries. It's a little bit dirty place but you don't need to miss it. It's experience!
Notting Hill was where the Caribbean population settled with Windrush, then Thatcher gave them the right to buy at incredibly knocked down prices , and of course a lot sold at huge profit which gentrified Notting Hill and the Caribbean population returned to the Caribbean, well the Widrush generation did ❤❤
SOOOOOOOO happy to see you try indian cuisine (coz the last dinner you had in london seems like you had it in an Indian restaurant… I would LOVEEE to see you make a whole trying Indian cuisine video … PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEE PLEASEEEEEEEEE
What you said about feeling at home in London and it feeling right is always how I felt about Paris when I would visit. Now I live here! I can see you tip toeing on it girly you just gotta do it ;)
Hey Tara, love the video. If you're ever in the UK again may I suggest visiting the South West of England. Cornwall and Devon as well as Somerset are just beautiful.
Ah Tar I am living for these vlogs, the excitement in me for one day maybe we meet in person! I live south of London in the cutest town called Kingston and It may not be busy like London but it has all the cutest things. Cant wait to see what happens next for you
Such a fun trip! I can absolutely see you moving to London. Such a beautiful city! Fun fact though! The Original London Bridge was bought and taken and reassembled in Lake Havasu Arizona in 1968! Edit: Did anyone else catch the guy in the background at 27:16 😁 ?? hehe
London always looks like an awesome getaway; from the States.Even the rainy night walk, seemed cozy. Tara was that guy checking you out, at 27:16? Also.. Your dad's accents 27:37. Lol Your mom was like you weren't gonna get any sleep;from drinking the espresso tini's 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
Got to love our British weather lol but glad you are all enjoying your time away and everytime I see Buckingham Palace it just makes me proud to be British ❤ and unfortunately alot of places aren't open on a Sunday 😢
You guys need to go back to Scotland and go to the Highlands. They have the loveliest wee places and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous 🥰 I lived in Scotland for a couple years because it’s where my husband is from, and I honestly would move back in a heartbeat if it was as simple as just getting on a plane and going back. Can’t wait for our holiday their next year 😍
Hey girl! My daughter & I watch all of your videos. I just love you so much 💞. Thank you for these latest vids & showing us where my ancestors come from. Places I'll probably never get to see. I am half English, Scottish, Irish. Surprised the shit out of me as I identified as German my whole life, to find out there's only a little of that DNA in me. I also have some french, & Lithuanian. It was very nice to get to kind of be with you there. Thank you! Say hello to Mom & Dad. They're pretty cool too! 😊 FYI King Edward IV is my ggggf. How do you like that?
Hope you have seen the Notting Hill (Roger Michell, 1999) film since coming home from the UK. You will know more about the significance of the blue door.
Hmm don’t think that was the right blue door from the movie.. They painted it black many years ago cause there were too many tourists outside wanting to take pics 😂 think they grew tired of lack of privacy 😅 the door is meant to be the front door to Hugh Grants character’s flat.. But maybe they painted it blue again?? I also used to live in London not far from Tower bridge by the Thames so had a view over tower bridge, Big Ben and London eye.. Good times!
LONDON VLOG!!! ughhhh such a great trip with my family, so glad to have these vlogs to remember our trips for years to come 😭
