Hi Fernan.... I have a question about a tool tip. I have a stacked bar chart which shows values by category A,B,C by week (x axis) with a topN category against the value totals for y axis. If I create a tooltip using date rather than the week, the tool tip will show the breakdown of the week hovered over into the daily values. This is expected and pretty neat. What I am looking to do is show the previous x number of weeks of values to get a historical view just for that selected piece of the stacked bar. I have tried creating the tooltip bar chart using ALL(), REMOVEFILTERS(), PREVIOUSDAY() etc but because the piece of the bar chart is shown for a week block I can't get it to "ignore" the time period and allow me to take the category part and then supply my own filter against the number of weeks. Any idea how to get a tooltip visual to ignore the week limitation? I also tried the "keep all filters" toggle on the visual on the tooltip however that doesn't provide the "relative previous x days" of the specific item being selected on the main visual.
Dear Fernan, I have created a report and in this report there are two visuals i.e. Exits by Grade and Exits and Turnover by Department. The former visual displays the grade wise number of leavers whereas the latter displays the data related to number of leavers and turnover percentage. If I select a articular grade in Exits by Grade then the visuals of Exits and Turnover by Department displays data correctly related to 1. Overall Turnover percentage of departments. 2. Highlighted Turnover percentage of the particular grade which was selected from the previous visuals for a particular department. 3. The total number of leavers of the department. But I also want to see 4. The total number of leavers in selected grade for the particular department. How can I achieve this?
Very concise and helpful. Thanks for sharing.
Glad it was helpful, thanks for watching!

Hi Fernan, your videos are so helpful. Great content and also very clear language. Very well done! Keep up the good work.
thanks
Great Video.
What could be the reason that there is no option of the page after setting tool tip. Only Auto is there.
Thanks
Great I found the solution after spending so many hours.
Also select "Allow use as Tooltip", under page information.
