Ken is so chill; I love his overall vibe. His shooting style is really unique as well. Jessica did a great job with a camera she wasn't comfortable with. Were the film stocks different? It definitely felt and looked like it. Georgia is gorgeous as always and did a wonderful job; she rocked both looks with ease. Great work by everybody involved! These series are the best; do as many as possible! I know it's a ton of work, and we appreciate all of it.
I feel like Ken was shooting with Fuji C200 since it had this greenish cast, Jessica was definitely shooting with different stock tho, it looks more contrasty still the green's still very complimented so probably still within the Fuji family.
I think he shot Tri-X at the end, judging by the film canister. I love sharing my film shooting process on my channel. Hope you guys check it out.
Gavin Fulton the film jessica used looked like portra400 maybe? Ken i would guess fuji by the greenish colors. Overall great photos they took
@@eggotistique I'm guessing Kodak, or she just scanned hers in the US and they used a different scanner than Ken which didn't have that green cast to the shadows
who konws ken’s ins?
Omg this shoot was so fun, even though we got told off!! 😂
Thank you for letting me be a part of this! 💕 Come back to Tokyo soon okay, we miss you! ❤️❤️❤️
Georgia Risa you’re beautiful and so kind and so pretty and cute 💗 i’m hoping the best for you ✨ hehe 😅
fernanda Awww! Thank you so much! All the best to you too! ☺️
Hi Georgia, you are gorgeous as always. But more vlog please!!! 🙏🏻❣ Somehow your accent, your look and the overall Japan vibe and culture had a perfect synthesis :)
How do I contact your agent for a shoot next time I’m in Japan?🙂📸
Followed you on insta before you were in Jessica’s videos. I’m from Australia too!🇦🇺
Your 100% Adorable♥️ Awesome Talent🌹🙏
Ken is just so chill. It's actually relaxing to watch him shoot.
I want Ken to become CEO of Apple, Amazon or whatever.
Press at big Apple event: "Ken, can you tell us something about the new iPhone 12?"
Ken on stage: "Yes sure... what is iPhone?"
If there is a way we could vote for this, he would absolutely have mine 😂
lol
😂

BRUH IM DEAD
This model again! I love her!
Jack& Jude 🧡🧡🧡
Georgia Risa You are really pretty.
She’s so nice and so pretty!
also me too!
@@GeorgiaRisa you're sooooo pretty🥺
jessica: "Why didnt the flash go off???!!"
ken:
jessica: "UGH idk if that was in focus"
ken:
jessica: "I really thought about each shot"
ken:
jessica: "my lens hood was on the camera"
ken:
He is helping her by being silent so she can learn on her own, great video!
Is no one gonna talk about how all the pics look like photos from olden eras in japan or some old movies
The vibe is so beautiful
"I don't know who I am" relatable 😂
The photos on this camera are so cool imo. They look more raw and real and I'm in love with the aesthetic..
Maaan, I wanna get kicked out of a Tokyo train station with Georgia and Ken. Looks like the best day ever.
The guy said it was dangerous to stand on the tracks like that...Furthermore you don't want to get into trouble as a visitor here. You can be held up to 3 months in Jail without warning. I'd wager you gotta do something pretty stupid though (stealing, fights, etc).
@@karafuru7666 Not literally looking to get booted out of a train station over here. lol Just saying, if you're gonna get into trouble with anyone, those two would be fun people to get in trouble with. :)
Ken is such a good photographer! I love the laid back/ cool aesthetic in his work. Such a unique style
Jessica is just the most likable person ever. Georgia and Ken are both so great at what they do. 10/10 video.
Use this as the ‘Ken is amazing’ button!
Ken’s a lot less intimidating without the massive clothing and footwear 😂😂
Adg
I might’ve fell in love with film photography 😭
ILHAM Omar I’ve been in love with film for two years now lol
I really recommend shooting film even if it’s just a disposable camera 👍
That’s awesome. I’ve got some videos that’ll help you get started with film. It’s a lot of fun!
you should definitely buy a film camera its so much fun!!
You like your photos blurry and out of focus? :D
@@tommy4862 its a style
Camera companies: For 2020 were dropping the best quality cameras ever seen. Full frame 4K mirrorless masterpieces!
Everyone: Wanna shoot with film?
Camera companies: wait...
actually medium format film can produce a higher resolution image than any digital camera ;)
@@ruffprophetproductions yeah but that isn't what is happening here...
@@rowdyruffmojo haha yes, the photos they took sucked. Most of the time blurry and out of focus.
@@rowdyruffmojo well if we're talking quality lets talk about it! otherwise lets not! right?
Camera companies should come out with new film cameras.
Ken is amazing, his laid back personality is so cool and he really nails those shots!
you could try with films that have passed their expiration date, will be cool
They have expiration date??
@@shizotypical yes... i was surprised when I know that, i bought two rolls that have expired and the result is very interesting
Eduardo Pereira hey, yeah I shot a roll of cinestill 50d that was expired. I made a video about. I think you’d enjoy it.
@@shizotypical yes film will get stale, that is why it is stored in a cold refrigerator, to keep it fresh. :)
@@ZainRiza could you send the Link to the video you made, I couldn't find it
Jessica's blurry pictures were so pretty, the one with the bunny on the playground was also cute but the flash gave it a creepy vibe!
I LOVE Georgia's black outfit.
Yeni B top is Zara and pants is easy to find similar one.
crushing so hard on both Georgia and Ken. Ken be looking so coool while shooting omg my heart cant take it 😭
Shooting film is so challenging... makes you appreciate the quality and ease of digital. Good job!
FIlm can have great quality too, it's just harder because you have to nail the shot instead of fixing errors in post
Awesome photoshoot! I always hated shooting film for the fact that I couldn't see the image after the shot was taken. Film photography is definitely an art that can't be mastered overnight.
Who else wants to be as pretty as the model?! lol
I'm pretty sure everybody wants to be pretty as Ken
Julia Alexa Far too kind of you! ☺️
COLTON ken is too cool 😭🙏🏻
Big facts
5:42 The girl in the background wearing the striped shirt was really pretty, too
Oh yeah
she was a model in one of her previous tokyo vids!
Ken is very chill, i love how calm he was shooting. All the photos were amazing. This was definitely a dope challenge. Looking forward to more
i love the film photography and how the pictures turned out.
3:50 I’m in love with this photo, the two people crossing path from each other with the bright yellow colour at the back!💕
This is making me just wanna go outside and shoot rn. I always complain that I don’t have enough money or cool props or location but you really can shoot anywhere and make it look good if you have a good eye. Thanks guys!! I’ll be shooting more this year now :)
Dutch angles are really tough to pull off through photos but for some reason Ken's photos gives me a Wong Kar Wai vibe that I don't see in a lot of photography styles and inspos.
I was just thinking it reminded me of chunking express
Film just has this magical air of nostalgia and I love it
ken seems like such a chill dude, georgia is gorgeous as always with such a kind smile and jessica is so sweet. the pictures are lovely
Watching your vedios is like therapy
4:42 Ken is like when you meet the parents of your partner for the first time.
Juan Quispe they were told to stay on the yellow line
this was so fun to watch. with the wig, i would have taken a shot of Georgia looking into the camera with a straight face, while taking the wig off. maybe while sitting still on the swing too, to add that contrast in colour with the pink dress.
me: *reads title, Sees the words "Tokyo" and "Film"*
me to myself: if my man Ken ain't in this, then I'm unsubscribing...
Not disappointed tho. Great video guys!
Wow, it's the Georgia Risa! Glad that you've been featuring her in your videos more frequently!
The flash and the color really gives it a retro feel. Very nice
The vibe of the video for me:... warm rainy air... city-trip... comfortable... friends... coke... cozy...
Thank you for that
Ken you are amazing! You are proof that it doesn’t matter what kind of camera you have but how you use it.
I like the flash being on, it gives it a greasy look to it
YAS! Do more film photography challenges! They are so different!
These videos feel different from alot of other videos on youtube. I really enjoy them. And Ken is so calm, and his shooting style is really cool. Love this so much!
I shoot only on film and these photos are excellent! I love that you are promoting film because so many young people are trying it out!!
Yessssss! Ken is adorable lol. These are amazing! Lolol that security guard was something else
All the pictures were so good, it's so much better than digital
I feel like Georgia is doing such a great job ! Everything is so busy and there are some uncomfortable moments but she is rocking it!
the model is super pretty and talented
Please do more film Jessica!
Absolutely would love to see what more you can do with this. Love your channel!!
yooo these pictures are so gorgeous. l love film photography
I like how you put in the photos throughout the videos, which makes it easier to keep track of when and how you shoot them.
Geogia Risa is so Humble and beautiful! love to see her again. And such a fun video to watch.
Jessica's film camera was everything. The shots we're incredible.
The picture taken by Ken, displayed at 16:01 is my favorite. It looks very cute.
Jessica askes soooo, Underwater photography? eeh?
Great video once again. Thanks to everyone who help produced it, you all do a very nice job
Wow Ken's style was so interesting to watch ! He's got such an original perspective
I love watching your videos Jessica! I wish I could find a group of like-minded creatives here in South Florida to go on adventures like this. You truly inspire me to keep creating!
KEN IS THE GOAT
Ken if you're reading this, GOAT means Greatest Of All Time
The shot at 6:00 is definitely the best of the shoot in my opinion. I feel that Jessica was at a bit of a disadvantage because of her camera. Not the best focus it seems and the lens was too wide for my liking. But beyond that, I feel that a good old SLR with a couple of primes cannot be beaten. The Canon A1 is my fave paired with a 50mm 1.4 or similar. But as it was, there are some who might like the snapshot style and that's ok too. The film resurgence is going strong. I started with a cheap ae1, and progressed to medium format and am now totally hooked. It seems to be a familiar trend these days and it is really great to see.
Killer shots of Ken in the first location!
Great content Jess.
Wow i'd like to see more videos of you w/ Ken!!! Love the film result and also love Georgia, such a sweet girl!
I found your channel a few days ago and watched your other videos. I must say I like this concept (photographing strangers, challenges, etc.) I've never seen something like this before. It brings fresh air in this platform. I'm already in love with your videos. I have definitely subscribed! :) XX
Hey Jessica, for your film camera there is a certain distance you have to stand to nail the focus. I think its like 3 feet. I had a similar one. You could probably download the manual for it online.
11:38 Talks about Ken wearing all black while wearing all black 😂I dunno why I find this so funny haha
he was great, he seemed so kind and humble. i really like him!
photo challenge: getting the picture in one shot versus as many as you'd like :) loved the video as always!!
I switched from didital to film exclusively about a year ago. I love the tactile experience of Film, and that you are more focused on each picture.
what kind of film Stock did you and Ken use?
Jessica's face when he said what is cereal😂
lol guy just has trouble with English and no one seems to pick up on it
Amazing shots. Your personalities were shown even through the shots that came from this.
Absolutely love Ken's work!
Also, you did a great vibe/tone with your pictures with the pink outfit.
I am intrigued in the type of film you used for the photos. Great video!
You should upload all the photos to a blog or something! I'd love to carefully look at them
At least they weren't yelling at you or physically abusing you guys when you got kicked out lol
That's always a good thing
They weren't really kicked out. The conductor said he shouldn't stand on the line, because it is dangerous as the platform is very narrow. The man was just considered about his safety.
@@inao7545 sooo clickbait pretty much smh
@@inao7545 exactly, after an accident a couple years ago where a person fell on tracks, JR placed a person watching safety on almost every single station. And those guys were clearly violating safety rules.
Yeah that wouldn't happen in Japan
dude, i think i saw you on cdawg's comment section. now i know why people were saying that you're everywhere :)
You are such an amzing photographer. My photography teacher is having us do a project where we choose a famous photographer, talk about them, and then do 3 photos inspired by their work and I choose you!
Ken all about them dutch angles - what a vibe.
These shots were 🔥
Yay! You’re shooting film! I’m so excited to see this!
georgia is soo beautiful! im her fan since your last photo in japan
Georgia is my fav model she is so pretty omg
4:00 This is why i admire japanese, they are very polite! 🧡
Hi Jessica love these type of film content please do more as this is the only film video on your page which I keep watching 😭
It wouldn’t be ken if he didn’t shoot bnw, such a great job everyone
that yashica lens is so sharp!
6:00 such a crazy photo.
the lighting and tones are on point.
please in future videos include the film each of you are using.
I think that plays a big role in the look of your images along with your camera (you got me looking on ebay for a canon now lol)
I miss film sometimes and it is nice to see what your final photos end up looking like
Hi Jessica... I really enjoy your upbeat photography... cheers me up on a Sunday evening... I have recently got back into film... picked up an old contax g1 kit for a bargain... looking forward to putting it to good use... have a good week...
15:38 I feel you Jessica, I loved how the pics turned out❤️
Jessica, a tip at 13:17 the flash on p&s cameras needs time to charge, once popped up, you may have fired prematurely, pop up the flash, WAIT for the red light to say its charged, Then shoot.
such fun photos. I live far away from any kind of subway, but that would be fun. Thanks for sharing the adventure.
i love kens vibe omg
Great video. Loved the developed film shots. I just purchased a 35mm film camera and some film tonight and this is inspiring.
Keep the mystery. I dont need to know Ken. I just need to see more of his cool swagger in action 😎👌
So fun seeing Jessica's style on film!
i love this model!! she's super kind and pretty
he is really a pro sorry jessica lol
Please make more videos with ken and georgia pleaseeee!!!
Shooting film is great... and even the model recognizes the benefits 17:49. Would love to see more film shooting, maybe you could shoot medium format film camera next time 😊 Peace!
I just so love Georgia
This model is so beautiful and her accent wow
the pictures are AMAZING
Yaaaassss atlast film!!!
this was soooooo good! more film please! love your channel, jessica!
