When someone overseas or on the internet asks where I'm from, I don't say my city, I don't say WA, I say Australia. Then I give more specific details from there if they want to know. Because it's rude and stupid to expect the rest of the world to automatically know what I mean when I mention my state or abbreviation. US Americans really do believe they're the centre of the fkn universe.

really appreciate you asking for permission. Where I am from every private person owns their own image and it is illegal to publish a picture without permission. It's okay to publish a picture of a building taken in a public space with people in it, but the moment an individual becomes the focus point, it is illegal. With this day of social media not everybody cares to check local laws when travelling. There have been a few youtubers who have visited and they just shove their cameras to peoples faces and complain that the locals are rude and cold.
