Great channel and content 👍🏻really good info on how you set your rigs up and fish them very helpful 👍🏻enjoying the channel keep it up,thanks and tight lines 🎣🎣🎣
The rod I use is a 7,6", it's a custom I built myself it's a 3-12 but the blank is very fast! It's tippy and strong, when you strike just swing for the hills!
Just realised I never replied to this comment my mistake, it doesn't matter with zander, the ebb tends to fish better as it does for all fish but recently I've had great fishing on the flood so who knows
Cheers buddy, the rod is a custom I made myself, it's built on a rainshadow immortal blank, 3-12g 7'6". Very good blank, the reel is a daiwa luvias 2500
Hey dude! The rod is a custom I made myself! It's built on a rainshadow blank an American company making them for walleye! Perfect for this application its a 3-12g but 7'6" and very fast !
@@luresonly noice, just picked up a couple packs. Wagasaki and gold ayu. I see people have alot of success on them, and they are a bit different to other TRD style baits.
@@luresonly I have watermelon silver, chartreuse and gold ayu, would these be good for zander? And would you just fish them on a mushroom head jig on a canal?
Super hard time to try! The spring is best time to learn for the perch, try dropshotting really small lures on features like canal walls and lock gates
its 7'6 one piece, i made it myself built specifically as a ML(3-g12g) for this big river. great for perch and decent zeds, its a super sensitive xfast blank, originally designed for american walleye fishing
Great quality video. Looking forward to more content! 🎣

Thanks buddy !
Nice vid. Put up a link for the bait.
Hey mate what sort of gear are you using for Texas rigs? Is the rod a slightly higher casting weight for the offset rigging? Cheers
The rod I use is a 7,6", it's a custom I built myself it's a 3-12 but the blank is very fast! It's tippy and strong, when you strike just swing for the hills!
when do you get the best results high tide or low tide, or is it when river rising or falling ? im really wanting to catch a Zed
Just realised I never replied to this comment my mistake, it doesn't matter with zander, the ebb tends to fish better as it does for all fish but recently I've had great fishing on the flood so who knows
just subscribed !! can i ask what rod and reel combo your using ? Regards Tosh
Cheers buddy, the rod is a custom I made myself, it's built on a rainshadow immortal blank, 3-12g 7'6". Very good blank, the reel is a daiwa luvias 2500
Looking forward to these on a daily basis now lol, what gram bullet weight you using mate.
5 gram, just got to that part of the video lol
For me mate the key is as light as possible, I will go to a 7 when I need to but if I can get away with a 3 I'll drop down.
Nice man! What was the rod in this video?
Hey dude! The rod is a custom I made myself! It's built on a rainshadow blank an American company making them for walleye! Perfect for this application its a 3-12g but 7'6" and very fast !
Great vid mate, what camera you using?
Thanks bud 👍 it's a Sony A6600
What's your go to reel for fixed spool?
I use all daiwa reels mate, I have a 2500 luvias on this rod and 3000 exist on my bigger rod.
Is it hard to get a fish
What colours do you like of the Molix?
Wagasaki is my fav by far! But gold ayu, watermelon red flake , watermelon black flake and orange pumpkin are colours I have great success on!

Where you from buddy you in Yorkshire?
Between Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire, a little town called Worksop
@@luresonly know worksop im on border of south west yorks.....just started out spinning last week still to catch/find a spot lol
Super hard time to try! The spring is best time to learn for the perch, try dropshotting really small lures on features like canal walls and lock gates
What weight bullet do you find you use most in the river?
5s mate, I like a 3 when I can get away with it but 5s are usually the first to run out. depending on the diameter of your line a 7 may be better
What rods that looks a decent length for a light set up
its 7'6 one piece, i made it myself built specifically as a ML(3-g12g) for this big river. great for perch and decent zeds, its a super sensitive xfast blank, originally designed for american walleye fishing
@@luresonly thanks for the reply I need something like that in my life
Can I ask what river this is please 🫣
