Love these sculptures. He is intuitive in the process which is what I'm after. So many artists these days are method mad, which is fine for some people, but dwelling on formulas and science often leaves a lifeless result. I like the way John Edwards throws himself into the work and gets dirty.
Hi John, I've been trying to find a process for making a sculpture I have in mind and I think your method works best for what I'm trying to create. But wanted to check, at around 0:35 second of the video, you put these plaster sheets on the newspaper/wire frame. What materials did you use to make those plaster sheets? Thanks!
