Excellent video. Just a small correction to the pronunciation for श sound. You are pronouncing it the same way as ष. श is closer to स like a flattened & shortened 'Sya'. Its my common observation of Hindi speakers. शाखा should sound more like Syaakhaa with less emphasis on y.

I am very excited about this as I have wanted to learn Sanskrit properly for some time. I put it off because I didn't want to learn improperly. I hope you succeed and will help in my own small way through Patreon. These short lessons helped solidify my understanding of Sanskrit sounds but there are still some areas where I feel insecure, namely some of the vowels r, l and the two types of t and d, palatial and dental. We don't have these sounds in other languages and I'm sure it's quite natural for everyone from India but not for others. I hope to connect with others who wish to learn and agree that books and videos are important but only go so far and no further. Why my interest in Sanskrit? I read Eknath Easwaran's English translation of the Bhagavad Gita. That book has been by my bed ever since. I look forward to reading it again in English and perhaps one day in Sanskrit. A very nice gentleman who works at a Nepali restaurant introduced me to the Gayatri Mantram. It would be nice to know this mantra in a natural and informed manner through the study of Sanskrit.

    Dear sir,
Thank you very much for these very very very powerful, informative and capability building videos. They really are too much addictive. Thanks.
I have a suggestion, if you would work on this, I think it'll be one of the greatest favour on all the Indians. As you must know, many peaple don't understand this language. Therefore they always keep themselves detached with it. If you teach this language in the simplest way, people will read the literature in this language. This will definately build an intelligent India, isn't it?
Please give a thought to it.
    Thank you very much.
