You don't have to particularly write anything to NIIED. People who have not completed their degree have to submit their own set of documents. It's mentioned in the guidelines and I have explained them as well.
In the guidelines it says "If passport not available, submit other govt. issued documents "So i don't have passport...do i have to submit my birth certificate as well as voter id card??Both..?
You said to appostile the colour copied documents...then if I go through embassy track, then I have to apostille per document three times for three Universities? Or I can xerox of print the one apostilled document in three copies??
Hi Vatssutra, highly appreciate your effort in this video and rest of others. I have doubt regarding the submission 4 recommendation letters for masters in embassy track, because NIIED mentioned that " Please enclose all four letters and this form altogether in an envelope... "" do you know what did they mention as " this form " in that guideline ?
They mean the LOR form. As far as I remember it's the Form-5. Check the application forms. It's the form that recommenders need to fill and submit with their letters
We'll b looking forward such more informative videos My query is Can I get appostiled on original docs n send photocopy of it (front n back ) vt true copy attestation on it ???
No you cannot. The document can be a copy but the apostille sticker has to be original. So, get the original document colour copied and apostille that and finally submit.
And I'm in the third case so I should just submit the provisional degree and then if I got acceptance letter than so I should just talk to the university to get the procedure of my degree done as soon as possible and when I get the degree then whom should I submit to that university where I get selected..?? (With it's additional copies )
As per last year guidelines, one cannot apply with a provisional certificate. If there's any change in the guidelines, the same can be checked in Feb 2024
Thankyou so much, your videos are extremely helpful. I just have a question, it is mentioned in the guidelines that employment certificate is required only for research students, but if people who are going for graduate studies also have work experience, should they also add their certificate of employment and if yes then should we get it apostilled too?
Ask your university to convert the results and give it to you or convert yourself using scholaro website and then get it authenticated from your university.

For the documents, watch the videos where I have talked about the documents that you should get apostilled. Check out the GKS playlist on my channel.

Hi ty for the information. Had one doubt. Is it mandatory to take LORs from our Degree college or can we also take them from our corporate office if we are working professionals?
Since NIIED has started asking for one LOR, they have specified in the FAQ section that the LOR must come from professor, dean or someone who can testify about applicant's academic abilities
Hello 💙 I have this question, I've graduated from my town's only government college affiliated under a government university. Now what 20% of top should i count for eligibility, 20% of university of my batch-year where hundreds where registered at the same time in same course, or 20% of my batch in town's college where only 60 students where in my batch whole year. Thankyou 😊
Consider 20% of your batch in your town college that is 20% of those 60 students. Get a certificate mentioning the same from your college and submit when applying to satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Yes, get your grades converted on a 4.0 scale and submit that after being authenticated by your university along with the apostilled original transcript. I am pretty sure you are eligible with this CGPA but you need to convert it on a scale of 4.0.
Hello sir myself sardraz from india. I did my high school from state board and my board of education dont provide any graduation certificate. Check the eligibility criteria in the guidelines. You need 80% to be eligible. But you need 2.64 on a scale of 4.0 to be eligible. Since you have 2.69, you might be eligible
My graduation score is in sgpa (10). But in my certificates my university mentioned how this mark system works ! So still i need yo convert it into percentage or they ill accept it
In the guidelines they haven't mentioned that the mark system works so it's best if you submit a converted MarkSheet. Ask your university to convert your grades in percentage and give it to you. Submit that
Hey, this video was really helpful. but there's two things i wanted to ask you do i need 80 percentage in every semesters or only in last 2 semesters for Masters and should i be in 20 percentage in my class or whole university?

You either show that you have 80% or minimum gpa on any of the given scale or submit a top 20% certificate. One of the two is mandatory to prove eligibility.
Hii animesh my birth certificate and curriculum certificates are not in English so do I need to translate all these documents? Also if I translate the certificates do I need to apostille both the original birth certificate and the translated copy?
No you don't have to. But you need to submit your original apostilled degree certificate before August 31st or else you will have to get an extension of six months.
Hello. I'll be applying for GKS next year. I wanted to ask what documents to send for the first round and second round cause in the guidelines it's kind of confusing.
The guidelines have mentioned all the documents that you need. And I have explained the important documents here. Transcript, degree, citizenship documents being the most important ones.
If it's separate marksheets then I think you will have to apostille all of them. I would recommend you email the university and ask them about it. They will give you more clarity about the same.
Can you please share your transcript template with us? I'm finding it difficult to make one and it's too confusing. Thank you for answering my previous questions.
You are not supposed to make it. Your university will make it. You cannot make a transcript on your own. Ask your university for it and they will give you.

Is it important to submit language score for example IELTS i mean if i don't have any language test score will not be able to apply for scholarship
Language test scores are optional requirements and not mandatory to submit.
While getting documents apostilled for embassy track do i need to get all the 4 set originally apostilled on each photocopy?
No. Just get one set apostilled and the other three sets will be the photocopies of the original set of apostilles.
@@vatssutra thank you so much ☺️
Hi ty for the information.
@@vatssutra thanks for the information.
Hello 💙
I have this question, I've graduated from my town's only government college affiliated under a government university.
Hello... They stated clearly in this year's guidelines that they will not accept any provisional degree certificate or even expected graduation certificate. Please kindly confirm on this one, because I said we can submit it. Kindly reply
Yes that's right and I have made another video for that already. Check the GKS playlist on my channel.
@@vatssutra ok thanks
hello brother.. I'm from pakistan and I'm in last samester and will be graduated before 28 feb 2024 but graduation certificate from university is difficult to acheive in this short period. What should I have to do ??
Sadly that's the mandatory rule. You need to have your graduation degree certificate and transcript when applying.
@@vatssutra can i submit any other document in place of it??
No you cannot
It was very informative video. Thanks and a small query. Do I need to apostille my 'Expected Graduation Certificate' too?
Yes you should
new guideline for GKS G 2023 said, "Provisional graduation certificate or provisional degree certificate will not be accepted as a graduation certificate" in page 18.
:")
First of all thank you so much. It really helps me a lot to clear my doubts.
I only have one doubt left.
Like you said that we can also apostille the colour copy of degree and transcript.
Is it also apply on birth certificate and parents voter id card
Like can i apostille the color copy of my parents voter id and birth certificate
Yes, you should do that.
Bro should we have to apostille that top 20% certificate too or is it okay if submit it without apostille?🙏🏻 please tell me bro
That doesn't need apostille but it must come directly from the university
hi, in the philippines they need one set of original documents and another 3 photocopied sets, for those required documents, is it ok to photocopy the apostilled docs? and not notarize it?
Yes, the embassy track needs one set of original document and three sets of photocopies. The photocopies don't have to be notarized or apostilled.
Hey! When should I start preparing my docs for GKS 2024? Is there any validity of LOR?
Validity is 12 months
So you can start preparing now
Hi, thanks for the informative video!! I have few ques
1- I am not sure if i am among the top 20% students of my batch is there a way to figure that out??
2- I scored 7.98/10 on a 10 GPA scale.. according to this I am behind with just 0.1 what should I do??
3- Can i convert my Scores on 4 GPA scale and get it authenticated from my university and send it???
Yes, get your grades converted on a 4.0 scale and submit that after being authenticated by your university along with the apostilled original transcript. I am pretty sure you are eligible with this CGPA but you need to convert it on a scale of 4.0.
@@vatssutra oh thank you so much for replying! I'm relieved😌 I can use online available conversion calculators right???
Yes but you must get it authenticated by your university.
@@vatssutra yes yes I will do that!! Thanks for helping i was stressed because of the eligibility marks 😩
Hello sir myself sardraz from india.
I did my high school from state board and my board of education dont provide any graduation certificate.
They provide us the final mark sheet with the title certificate cum marksheet.... So do i have to worry about my graduation certificate or my final mark sheet would be enough?
Try getting a certificate from your school that states that the MarkSheet cum certificate is both graduation certificate and transcript. That would do it, I believe
@@vatssutra thank you so much sir. 🌺
Can we apostille our birth certificate colour copies as well??
Yes you can
Can you please guide me.. I want to apply for master's.. But in my bachelor’s degree I got 2.69 CGPA out of 4 and my percentile is 80 but my percentage is 70.. Am I eligible??? Please guide me
Check the eligibility criteria in the guidelines. You need 80% to be eligible. But you need 2.64 on a scale of 4.0 to be eligible. Since you have 2.69, you might be eligible
Bro Hume notarized aur apostille dono hi karane hai ya fir sirf apostille karne h please tell me...
Apostille can only be done after notarization. It's the general process
i want to ask you that I'm already doing my BA graduation it's last year. still can I apply for GKS? If I apply for GKS then again I've to do BA?
You can apply for masters once you finish your bachelors
Please tell the difference between graduation certificate and graduation degee transcript 🙏
Graduation certificate is your degree and transcript is a document that has all of your grades compiled in one single document
Submit that
@@vatssutra tqqq so much 😁! Have a gud day 😉✨✨
hi Animesh actually my parents don't have voter id or passport so any other alternative for proof of citizenship
These two are the only ones that I am aware of. Getting their passports made would be best!
Hey, this video was really helpful.
but there's two things i wanted to ask you do i need 80 percentage in every semesters or only in last 2 semesters for Masters and should i be in 20 percentage in my class or whole university?
1. You need 80% or more in your final results.
2. You need to be in the top 20% of your batch.
And you just need one of the two to be eligible to apply.
Thank you
Hello sir, good afternoon. I have a question about the top 20% student criteria. Do I have to be the top 20 student among the 300 student batch or the top 20% student among the 300 students (60 students)?
Please help me with this; it will be quite beneficial to me. Thank you, have a wonderful day.
Top 20% and not top 20 students
Suppose I apostile my original documents then for the embassy track shall I take 3 sets of documents in color photocopies or B&W will do? Also will I have to notarize those 3 sets of documents later on?
Yes, for the embassy track you need to send one original set of documents and three photocopies. It can black and white or colour. But it would be good if you submit colour copies.

Did you go with embassy or university track? 2. If i were to go with university track, how do i know what universities accept GKS?
Thanks for that!
1. I applied through University track.
2. I didn't get your question.
Hi but university are mentioned on the file
How to find thae number of recommendation letter of universities
Check their respective websites for that information.
Which track has more chances to get selected embassy or university?
There's no such thing to be honest. Each track has its own pros and cons.
I'm doing bsc clinical nutrition and dietetics right now and will have only 6 semesters in 3 years will it cause any problem ?
No, you can still apply for a graduate program.
When gks 2024 guidelines are going to be announced?

Work experience

You need 80% or to be in the top 20% of your batch. So show any one of those to be eligible to apply.
But I have a 3.0 GPA from a 4.0 point scale, that's not good enough according to my college grading system?? I graduated from Du Sol

If I have Top 20 certificate then also I have to submit transcript? And do I have to apostile the top 20 certificate ?
Transcript is a mandatory document. You must submit it. The top 20% certificate needs no apostille.

2. is the 80% and top 20 matters (along with)/or the converting into gpa will also makes me eligible for the scholarship?
Converting the GPA is enough to prove eligibility. Make sure to get the converted results authenticated by your university.
@@vatssutra is the converted gpa should be in 4 ,4.3,4.5 and 5 or just 4 is enough?
@@vatssutra Hello. Can you please specify about how to get the converted GPA authenticated by University?
If university didn't provide 20% certificate, what should we do?
You either show that you have 80% or minimum gpa on any of the given scale or submit a top 20% certificate. One of the two is mandatory to prove eligibility.
Hii animesh
my birth certificate and curriculum certificates are not in English so do I need to translate all these documents? Also if I translate the certificates do I need to apostille both the original birth certificate and the translated copy?
Yes translate everything but just apostille the original ones and get the authentication for the translated ones.

Do we have to appostile all our 5 marksheet if we are in the last semester??... Cause it's gonna cost so much
If it's separate marksheets then I think you will have to apostille all of them. I would recommend you email the university and ask them about it. They will give you more clarity about the same.
What if I don't have passport... & Voter id card what can I do
Birth certificate is mandatory for all applicants so submit that and not Voter ID. Apply for a passport as soon as you can. You will anyway need it.
Passports do have the mother name and father name right?can't we submit that as proof of citizenship for the applicant ?
No. You must submit a birth certificate. All applicants have to submit a birth certificate.
Can you please share your transcript template with us? I'm finding it difficult to make one and it's too confusing. Thank you for answering my previous questions.
You are not supposed to make it. Your university will make it. You cannot make a transcript on your own. Ask your university for it and they will give you.
@@vatssutra Oh, my college said to make a doc and include all marksheets on there, that's why I was asking. Thank you tho.
Try searching for a template on the internet. Lots of templates are available. You can choose one which fits your university instructions.
