Why senior helps junior, there should be professor to teach them? Every department of college should have more number of professor to guide every batch, This is the main reason of toxicity. Senior is also a student not teacher, they also need time for their self study. This situation must be change.

6 year course is nothing but just blunder.. neurosurgery is a super specialised branch. Any person could take decision better to choose super speciality only after atleast he became a surgeon first. A mbbs graduate who took neurosurgery is only under peer pressure or what he listens or it is cool to be a neurosurgeon and this results in leaving and wastage of that seat which could be filled with any other candidate who is ms surgery.. Once you do surgery residency you see what type of cases neurosurgery do, plastic do etc how their life then you will be in a position to decide..
This can also be conveyed in different way which doesn't look very harsh

Same as for all DNB/DrNB courses across India, 1.25 Lakhs/year + GST = Approx 1.48 Lakhs per year

The same way I got it the last time, by being consistent, solving pyqs, giving GTs and revise revise revise.
Points you highlighted like toxicity and hectic schedule.. its petty much same for all specialist pg courses
Reason u left is because of ur clarity in choosig branch.. u were not sure what u wanted and after spending 5 mo ths u realized u were at wrong place..
