It's been awhile, so my memory might be a little off. I mostly kept my distance and dash-attacked him when he got close. That final attack you mentioned is what triggers the next cutscene if you get hit, idk what triggers this exactly, but I'm pretty sure it functions similarly to his normal attacks, so either getting the hell away from him could work or timing a dash attack at an instant could also. Again, I could be wrong as my memory is a little hazy, sorry, but I hope this helps.

How did you manage to get Anubis II final hit without taking damage? For some reason there seems to be an unavoidable damage in the final one..
