Welding joint completed ---Grinding (slag removal + contamination) ----pipe induction heating (induction coil) or induction head----Coating applied by coating head and completed less than one minute.
It looks like steps are made to respect the environment when using this (specifically the controlled movable painting station). The last time I painted something, the overspray went everywhere. Thanks!
The edges of the parent material stand out here for sure. The sandblaster did not feather the edges. However, that pipe joint is sealed up tight nonetheless.
That wouldn't have passed with edges like that - off it would come sandblast it all off again and redo - looks like a boss is blasting it not a proper blaster, great set up though two coils and spray booth -SPOILT!.
Nice video.. is this pipe for penstock (hydroelectrict power plant) or oil/gas?
Looks like 2888?

Very nice, some issue carry on the frame start to end like 56 dia inch
Nice Job. Any follow up videos with inspection? DFT, Holiday testing? Are do you just assume the process was done correctly?
There are two inspectors who follow the crew and check every pipe joint to make sure all is well.
what is the time for coating 42'' 600 W,T JOINT FROM START TO FINISH
Heat sticks mark the pipe with them chalk based they turn brown when they hit the right temp different colors for different heats.
The coating ring takes less than a minute to coat the weld. From sandblasting to finished coat takes approximately 4 minutes.

Every possible step is taken to protect the environment, and the work force.
The edges looks terrible
Feathering would be good..lol
