this car looks so promising.Tesla must up its game with the Juniper if they want to stay competitive. Looks like they finally got a suitable rival. Both on the features and price fronts.
Xpeng G6 has way more equipment for the money than a Model Y. If Tesla only adds the same things as Highland in Juniper it won't be able to match this. As you say, Tesla really needs to step up their game and stop removing equipment to save money. Also Model Y have the worst tow hook solution ever. In Xpeng G6 it's semi-automatic and hidden underneath when not in use (like most brands today do except Tesla).
@@Danne89 I agree. it has, what looks like, pretty good auto-parking system for free. it has digital instrument cluster, i guess, front bumper camera, and, what is most important for me, STALKS!!! not to mention rain and ultrasonic sensors! For me the biggest advantage that Tasla has right now is how good they are with updating/improving their software. I would be afraid that Xpeng just stops updating G6 software after couple of years.

Nimm eher das long range Model Y als Konkurrenz, das Performance Model Y ist viel zu schnell für den G6. Ist aber ein gutes Gesamtpaket wenn auch teuer für eine China Schüssel

On the Xpeng website it seems like you can fully recline the front seats when removing the headrest. Can you make a video of the how that is looking/working. Could be useful for moving long parts (Ikea 😬) or maybe sleeping in it?
Not stuff but maybe people? As he said, the footwell space is apparently more than in the Y. In other words, you have more space for feet (which you cannot put in a frunk).
@@kimjaeger4399You Will not run out of footspace in the Y. The frunk is super useful for all stuff you want to access without having to empty the boot. Charging cable small compressor, snow scraper, cleaning stuff, squeegee etc.

True that. Almost bought it, but the service intervals/prices made me rethink, and then Cupra released the pricelist for the Tavascan, and that one is a better deal imho. Got features that G6 doesnt have, and it does not handle like a van, unlike the G6 which is a very dull drive.
It is a fair concern, and certainly not all Chinese brands are here to stay. Xpeng at least has a lot of succes in the Europe so far. I wanted a German car but bought an Xpeng, as I had to accept compromises on everything to get a German car.
Watched at 1.5x speed and Bjorn was a chipmunk on helium 😂😂😂
These are about to hit our shores here in Australia - should be a very strong competition to the Model Y!
I like the design language.
What do you mean, as in how it looks?

Xpeng g6 Performance ist 10000 Euro günstiger als Tesla Model Y.
Bei Tesla muss ich noch 3800 Euro extra bezahlen. Bei Xpeng das inklusive

And you live in House no. 26 how funny 😂 26 banana boxes
No Frunk? My name is FRUNKENSTEIN!

It's not 26+1. It's 9+1
Yeah but the Tesla Y banana boxes match your house number😁
