    Hey amigos, many people have been asking for Spanish subtitles. Unfortunately my Spanish skills "es no bueno" so I can't do it myself. But in the last couple of days, something awesome has happened!
    In my last video, I mentioned that I have opened subtitles to the public so anyone can submit the subtitles. I know it's hard work to translate... so I wasn't sure if anyone would do it. 😆But once again The New Travel community has shown how many awesome people are here.
    Already I have received Spanish subtitles for:
    *1. Our First Earthquake - Reaction from Mexico City (Feb 16th, 2018)*
    *2. Why I Love Mexico City (CDMX) - Mexico Travel Vlog #7*
    and someone even added French subtitles for:
    *Is Mexico Dangerous? - I Ask Mexicans for the Truth!*
    I must give a HUGE thank you to everyone who has helped. Adding new languages is a great way to share these stories from Mexico with the world! 🇲🇽🌎

      The New Travel según yo, San Pedro Garza García en Monterrey es la más rica de toda Latinoamérica, aunque no se exactamente si es una colonia o un municipio.

    • @dramirezg70
      @dramirezg70 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mix Ner, San Pedro is a municipality outside Monterrey. It has colonias like Valle, Valle Oriente, Santa Barbara. Not all of it is for rich people, there old part of town have people of all income levels. But it does not compare to Polanco in fanciness and infrastructure.

    Dan, you entire Mexico City's expedition have significantly altered my perception of Mexico. The USA news media portrays Mexico as immigrants, poor, and drug cartels with vast amounts of carnage. Wrong image! Now, I want to travel to Mexico City.

      Louis Lark Mexico is a beatiful country with a several kinds of weather. Many foreings are living in Mex. There^s a wonderful cities or towns like San Miguel de Allende Gto is a beatiful place to visit and our beaches are amazing like Xcaret Quintana Roo. And other places. U right. Usa news say bad word about mexican people. Every country there"re poor and rich people, thieves. I was living in Brklyn ny i think is a violent zone cuz everyday died 10 persons per day according newspaper but its right, brooklyn has dangerous gangs,a lot teen people who is addicted to drugs or belongs em to dangerous gangs. Nowdays hay atentados en schools etc etc. So i invite u to know mex im sure u gonna love it.

In mi city, couple years ago narcos fight ech other in public places and innocent people get killed, also they wanto money so they kidnapped rich people. They kill police too, cut the body, if someone still from them they kill them. i will prefer live in the US than here in mexico, bouth country killed people but atleast there you can live well wiith better salary. im not saying mexico it is bad in everything, but in so many thing is bad, like schools (publics) hospital and poloticians. They stole millions of pesos

Yes, there is a Neighbourhood made up ranches, chalettes and mansions in the outskirts of Mexico City and they use a nearby little airport for they private jets.

      I would say that money is absurdly important for people from Monterrey, they think that money is the only thing that matters in the world and everytime they want to show up their neighborhood called :San Pedro" trying to convince that is the most expensive place in all the continent. Pathetic behave, by the way. And i guess people from Mexico City just try to respond that they (MTY people) should stop saying that. That that is not true. Anyway is a silly childhood fight. :)

      Erik M Glez You really believe that he doesn't already know that? LoL! I'm pretty sure he's trying his best at speaking Spanish while there. My advise to you is to let the guy be... He's just enjoying his visit there. He's even showing his English speaking audience from around the world what Polanco is like through his eyes. Mas trucha y suerte por donde ande ud Sr Glez.

I've had that tie (and the others I have) for a year now. After all that time I got practically nothing for it, about $15.00. I previously had a couple of other pieces of his that sold quicker. Anyway, the timing was funny.

    In Polanco's neighbourhood there is an special architecture called newcolonial or californian architecture. There are many houses that now are stores that were builted in 1930 and are the classic architecture style of Polanco. The Pasaje Polanco was designed in the decade of 1930 in the Newcolonial style. And the principal and beautiful park of Polanco is Lincoln's Park in the honor of president Lincoln.

      No entiendo a los regios que salen con comentarios envidiosos.
      CDMX es una ciudad globlal de clase alfa, y es la única del país con ese estatus, a parte de ser la única major city del país.
      Monterrey pueblo, no llega a ciudad, mientras CDMX está entre las 15 ciudades más importantes del mundo.
      Monterrey NO tiene zona alguna que se parezca a Chapultepec ni a otra zona desarrollada de CDMX.
      Los regios solo se engañan así mismos.

    • @JulHackChack
      @JulHackChack 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Qué fuentes tan pobres.
      Te puedo contestar con con fuentes como PNUD y Forbes.
      Para tu segunda fuente, puedo contestar con Forbes, donde compara el PIB per cápita de CDMX con el de París:
      www.forbes.com.mx/el-pib-percapita-del-df-como-el-de-francia/
      PNUD, respecto a desarrollo humano y delegaciones y municipios más desarrollados, a parte de ciudades:
      es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anexo:Entidades_federativas_de_M%C3%A9xico_por_IDH
      En cuanto a municipios y delegaciones, no encontré fuentes actualizadas, incluso la que mostraste es de las más actualizadas y es de hace dos años, por lo que ya no creo que sirva como fuente, pero sí hay más actualizadas de PIB per cápita por ciudad y desarrollo humano, como las que mostré, basándonos en que estas medidas son a números que no varían tanto por año como el de la riqueza por municipio, ya que toma bloques de casi media década o más.
      CDMX es una ciudad que produce casi lo mismo que toda la región norte del país, así que, desde mi punto de vista, e independientemente de si Monterrey pueda tener un municipio más rico, pero siempre menos desarrollado o de menor relevancia, es completamente estéril.
      Lo que también es cierto, es que el centro de México produce casi 3 veces lo que el norte y solo CDMX produce lo mismo que todo el norte, a parte de que todo por lo que destaca México en cuestiones económicas y desarrollo, son principalmente del centro; desde la cantidad de ingenieros, que ponen a México como uno de los países top, hasta el desarrollo de tecnologías de última generación.
      También es curioso como en un video que trata sobre CDMX, vienen regios a querer resaltar por un municipio, demostrando muchisimo lo frustrados que están.
      Nadie en el mundo sabe qué es Monterrey, mientras CDMX es una major city, así como una ciudad global o clase alfa, la única de todo el país.
      Supongamos que Monterrey tiene un municipio que es más rico, pero no más desarrollado.
      Simplemente Santa Fe le da mil vueltas a todo Monterrey en desarrollo, ya ni hablemos de otras zonas que funcionan como centros financieros y económicos de gran parte de la economía del continente.

    • @JulHackChack
      @JulHackChack 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No son datos de wikipedia, son de PNUD, y no son del 2005, son del 2014 y 2015 en una medición que se toma por generaciones, no por año.
      No me puedes decir que Monterrey crece más sin sustento, ni lo de las empresas o inversiones extranjeras. No tiene peso lo que dices sin fuentes.
      La realidad es que CDMX es la única entidad con desarrollo humano muy alto del país y Monterrey no pasa de ser un pueblo.
      No necesito ir a Monterrey este año, ya que pasé año nuevo ahí, y la verdad no parece ni ciudad, es un pueblo.
      CDMX está entre las 15 ciudades más importantes del mundo, mientras Monterrey apenas está dando el paso a convertirse en una ciudad de verdad, pero esto le tomará todavía varias décadas. No hay ni punto de comparación.
