This is a great episode. The analogies drawn by the tutors really helped me frame RC in a new way that I'm super excited to utilize the next time I do a RC section. 'You're donning battle armor as you read the passage, and if you go into battle (answer choices) before you've fully donned your armor, you're gonna get shanked.'
I listened to your video twice. It resonated so much with my visual memory ( the 2 divergent roads, the nuance of the 3d ) that I was eager to do a RC section... LOL!! I was avoiding those like the plague. Well... it was so different this time. I stopped and UNDERSTOOD the meaning of each little thing in the text. Yes, it took me longer but I scored 100% at that RC section, something I was never able to achieve. Both of you are absolute pleasure to listen to. I can only imagine the lucky clients that will have you as their attorney. For now, I will enjoy more of your teachings and I feel extremely lucky!! Much love and best wishes to both of you.
I have done the LSAT 3x going on 4th and I am two weeks away from taking the lsat and i just hope this time will be better my scores have not changed at all
I answered this question pretty quickly by identifying what was a feature of US law but not Roman law regarding (true) statements that could harm ones reputation: freedom of speech. Which answer choice does not violate freedom of speech but does violate the Roman laws regarding revealing something shameful? E!... what I got from passage B is that any shameful revelation, whether true or untrue, is only acceptable if the individual revealing shameful facts shows "positive cause for the privilege of revealing the information", and in this case the only positive cause we are given is "legitimate purpose" having to do with "a matter that the pubic authorities had an interest in having revealed"

I love these type of conversations. It makes the test far more accessible and less “academic”. We need more commonsense approaches to the LSAT!
