I’m 46 and suffering from a ten year battle with chronic illness but studying for the lsat and this is what I needed right now. Whoever Robert is he needs his own TH-cam channel!!!!
I’m almost 30 and also have had a chronic illness (and have accumulated a couple more over the years) for 10 years and am also studying for the LSAT! It might take us a bit longer, but we are fighters and know how to push through difficult things - we will get there!! 🎉
This was a great story to hear! I’m 43. My diagnostic is 152 and I’m committed to daily practice for the next year. I’m pushing for high 170s. Good luck in your future endeavors Robert!
“Be kind to your future self.” Wow. I need to write this on my mirror and read it every morning. I’m 36 and so thankful for these videos! It’s never too late to work towards the life you dream of.
I have no regrets that I spent the last 25 years fully invested in raising my kids. But now it's time for me to go do what I have always dreamed of, which is help those who are hurting. I was studying to be a therapist when law school suddenly made way more sense after a conversation with a young lawyer. This interview reminded me to study for HER, or for HIM, the women and men who have been exploited by the commercial sex industry. Because bringing justice for those who have been exploited not only helps the client, but it helps protect the next person from the same fate. Thank you so much for your encouragement. encouragement
I’m 36. The older you get the more value you see in waiting a year and improving your score from 168 to 175. Only 7 points, but different planets in terms of the options you’ll have.
@@dorcasadevu4469 yes, there’s no rush, coming from personal experience and expensive lessons learned. It’s easy to want to hurry up and get it done, but waiting until you’re really ready will pay off.
When you are young looking forward, you tend to think that 30,40,50 is old. Take what I’m going to say seriously! I’m older. And I’m looking and listening to you kids who say, oh no! I’m 40. I’m old. Well I’m 70, and trust me when I say, you aren’t old. When I was 30, 40, 50, I convinced myself that I was too old to pursue my dreams. And now that I’m 70 I realize that I really wasn’t old. I was older than the average student, but I wasn’t old. So don’t sale yourself short.. it’s never too late. If not now, then when?
Robert changed my perspective on this. I've been struggling but that's because I am avoiding the grind. If I want to succeed, I have to take the time to get the results.
Thank you both. I’m 31 and just now beginning my LSAT journey. I’ve been discouraged because I’m not a K-JD, kid. This gave me so much motivation and inspiration.
Thanks so much for this! I haven't yet gotten the LSAT score I want to get into my ideal schools, but was contemplating going to a non-preferred school with lower stats. Being an older aspiring student, I have felt rushed not to miss this admission's cycle, but your words resonated, and I'm not going to rush it if things don't align this year.
This is so inspiring :') thank you for sharing your story Robert. I am almost 30, had a diagnostic of 135 and have been studying for a year now. Only recently have started to feel like I understand the ins and outs of this test. This is so motivating and inspiring to hear.
Thank you Robert for reminding me today that it is in the struggle where growth happens. Maybe I’m not too old to learn this after all. Immensely encouraging. Best of luck on your journey to becoming an attorney!
Thank you so much for this interview!! I am also in my mid-forties, and my husband keeps saying that when I graduate, I will be 50 and if it is worth it. However, I feel that I have not reached my full potential and I feel like I can make a difference doing this career change.

I’m 43 and this is the BEST interview yet! I have two preteens and a husband of 20 years! Come thru Robert! 👏🏾 👏🏾 💜
Community! 🙌🏾 it’s always nice to see similar circumstances on my journey. Competing with younger, single applicants can be scary.
