  • I hate leaving behind tree stumps. So I decided to try and push a cedar tree around enough to break up the roots. It eventually worked... sort of. #NewHolland #CompactTractor

Man that grill guard is heavier duty than the bottom of that bucket the way that thing was flexin!

Can’t believe how much the bottom of the bucket is flexing.

Looked like Plastic the way it was flexing. Yikes!

You should never idle a diesel once its warm. It causes two problems, cylinder wash and exhaust soot build up.

Mine - same tractor - did the first at 17 hours, which I thought was awfully early, but it went through without any issues while I was mowing.

Nice cedar tree. It's a shame it couldn't be relocated, but I know having a tree that size would be expensive.

Work em hard, work em hot. Those small tractors are not meant to be babied, they are work tools. The T4 Final engines run better and run cleaners with loads put on them. The more heat, the less regen cycles to go through.

You need a tooth bar or a stump bucket? Great video.

Have you had any problems with your WM40? I found a used 2017 with 900 hrs for a great deal. It sounds like the WM35/40 are bullet proof but the WM33/37 has a lot of electrical problems

My regions on my Boomer 40 are about every 50 hours on Clockwork now I'm up to 200 hours and had four run it at 2500 RPMs when you get a Regen

Next time try the tire trick with the pull rope over a tire next to the base of the tree so it pulls up and out.

I wonder if they make delete kits for these. I’ve been looking at 40+ hp machines but the emissions crap has really made my decision and I’m glad I have my 30hp TC30 pre emission machine

I own the same 2021 NH workmaster 40 as in the video and it did its first regen at 17 hours, but without issue while I was mowing. I will reserve judgement on the length of time between regens until I"ve had a couple more. It did smell a bit unpleasant, but that's about the extent of it. The one thing is that if you FORCE a regen, you can't do it while working, so you have to wait for it to do it on its own schedule. My older TC26DA was a great tractor but I had problems with it, and traded it in after 15 years. It was like an extension of my body when I used it, and it's going to take a lot of getting used to the larger and different machine, but the extra power, stability and most of all the middle range are much appreciated. This tractor is a whole lot more stable and comfortable on uneven ground than the smaller one, and I had 1.25" wheel spacers on that one. The 60" snowthrower doesn't quite cover the tires, and the 6' back blade might end up being too small in the snow, but we'll wait for winter to find out if they need to be upgraded.

Need a tooth bar on that bucket to get a better bite or get a stump bucket to put on your loader. Backhoe or small excavator works better for tree removal.

Why didn't you drop your blade and catch the roots and push and pick up on the bucket as you pushed forward?

I was told by the dealers that you have to operate the tractors, any with regen systems, you have to operate all the brand's of tractors at 2000 to 2200 rpm at all times and they're more fuel efficient at that rpm as your not having to lug the engine at lower rpm as you control your speed by what range you're in l,m,h. Talk to your dealer they'll tell you the same thing.

New Holland Boomer 37 will do a REGEN every stinking 4 hours just as the manual states. It takes 30 minutes to complete at high rpms. After going through 2 Regens I see it waste to much time and fuel . Time for this tractor to be sold.

Straps are dangerous if the strap should have snap you could get hurt or serious injured or killed. You really wasted a lot time here. You need to tear up the root base at the ball by hitting it from all sides. A Tooth bucket like a rock-bucket or a bucket with a piranha bar would have help.
