    Good video my friend, I been building busas for a while and this process will make it even easier. take the top radiator mount bolts loose and unplug the fans, that will allow you to lower the radiator without draining any coolant and easier access to cylinder 2 bolts. In addition you will have way more room.

    MAN! That exhaust looks and sounds great on the Busa!!

    I just ordered a Brock's Performance Alien 2 exhaust for my new '24 'Busa. I'm going to pick up the bike from the dealer this weekend. I am SOOOO not looking forward to the work of swapping out the exhaust. It just looks like a pain, not to mention my garage doesn't have the best lighting either. Oh well, I bought it so it's getting put on one way or the other. I'll likely wait until the first 500 mile oil change is due, then do it all at once then. Thank you for posting this video.

    When I did mine, the stock header bolts were way over torqued and were bent. That looked way easier than my install of the Brock’s system. Sounds great 🤙🏽

      Over torqued and bent sucks not much room to get lots of leverage. I like easy....thanks man!

    Awesome video man, I just received the Brocks Alien Head II for my 2024 Hayabusa and Sprint air filter. Your vid is about the only one I can find in youtube that is not timed lapsed. Much thanks for that cause I am dreading the fairing removal. If your ever in south west Florida I would love to meet and ride with you...

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks and you are welcome! The fairings are not too bad, the worse part are the header springs on the new exhaust. Not sure about the Brocks Alien Head II's also I learned after I made this video you don't need to drain the coolant, remove the top screws instead of just loosing them and let the rad hang by the hoses. You will have plenty of clearance. Good luck, enjoy and if I'm evern in SW Florida I will let you know!

    • @Knolgarcia69
      @Knolgarcia69 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just finished the Alien Head II install. I ended up removing the entire rad and the fairings were not too bad. Luckily I had plenty of Engine Ice coolant ready for the job. I am super happy just like you are with the sound. Now, if it would just stop raining I can go for a ride. Thanks soo much for your help with the vid and of course, keep the rubber side down even if is just one tire at times, lol@@MonkeyButtRides

    Great honest vid! I have 150miles left before 1st oil change. I have a brocks alien head and associated parts sitting in a box and will do it all at the same time.
    Like you said it'll probably take several days due to work, kids and wife honey do's.
    Thanks to your tip I'll have to make a trip to the big box store to buy extensions I have but can't find...
    I'll also stop by SAM'S and buy a big ass jar of pretzels so I can have something to drain my coolant into..😂

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for watching and commenting. I do like my pretzels! Someone else commented on this video that you don't need to pull the radiator hose and drain coolant. If you actually remove the top radiator bolts and leave the hose attached, you get even better clearance without the need to drain the coolant. Another tip I learned after filming this video was to cut out a piece of carboard to protect the fins on the inside of the radiator as you are torquing header nuts down. I would still get some pretzels from SAM's they are good!!
      I recently installed headers on a BMW S1000rr and we were able to leave the hose attached, and let the radiator dangle. It worked out great, no need to drain coolant.

    What’s the best way to get those small push pins out. I installed a LED tag frame and had to take the back piece off and those push pins on the side was a real pain. They did not want to push out at all.

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I press in on the center using a small Phillips screwdriver. Anything that is small enough to press the center without touch the outter edge should work. Then with a finger nail I pull them off by the outter edge. They should pop off pretty easy. The larger onces under the belly up front are more of pain but the rear/tail section ones should be easy.

      @@MonkeyButtRides Yea I tried that they didn’t want to budge at all. I got them out but they really didn’t want to budge. I had a Suzuki M109R and the push pins on it was really easy to get out but this 2023 Hayabusa didn’t want to cooperate lol.

      I did, a small spot down low, if I remember correctly near where the header bends to go to the back of the bike. You pretty much need to get on your hands and knees to see it. M4 does provide new brackets to push the fairing out farther I think I used them but can't remember TBH.

    Hello, I heard that if you work on a full system muffler on Hayabusa's 3rd generation car, a warning light will come up. So I heard that I need to install a Hiltech company servo eliminator canceller, does that not need to be done? However, the Hiltech company does not have a product from Hayabusa's 3rd generation. Didn't the warning light come up after working on the full system? Is it okay?

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You do not need a servo eliminator for the Gen3 Hayabusa. There is no flap that opens and closes like on other exhaust systems. No codes popup on the dash. You do need to pick an exhaust system that has fittings for the 2 O2 sensors. Just make sure the full exhaust you buy is actually made for the Gen3.

    • @MonkeyButtRides
      @MonkeyButtRides  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, if you completely remove the top bolts and instead of just loosening you can get the clearance without draining the rad fluid. I did another exhaust install after I filmed this video and we didn't need to drain the fluid.

      Sorry for the delayed response but I was out of town for a couple of days and wanted to check my service manual before I answered. This is straight from the service manual (not the owners manual). "Use a high quality ethylene glycol base antifreeze, mixed with distilled water. Do not mix alcohol base anti-freeze and different brands of anti-freeze."
      Basically any 50/50 distilled water and ethylene glycol ani-freeze should do the trick. Now they say don't mix brands and what brand did the tech use that put your bike together? Shit if I know. I would say don't sweat the brand and just make sure it's a 50/50 mix of distilled water and ethylene. Best you can do without a flush and replace.
      Hope this helps brother.

    We just installed a full system on 2023 Hayabusa and it was the worst experience ever. The radiator bolt cracked in half and needed to be drilled out, all the header bolts were bent and needed to be replaced, and after all that, the stator cover started leaking oil all over the place. Could just see RTV leaking and smearing out all over it. Disgusting. Needless to say, bike went back in to dealer for warranty repairs. The Hayabusa, literally is the worst qualify manufacturing I've ever seen and would not recommend this bike to anyone.
