HP takes money, looks like you spent money in the right places. You have a great bottom end foundation and you are on your way to be making a power house.
I am looking to do just about the same thing. I have the block. She's an 010 block out of a 69 PU going into a 76 vette. I want similar performance. Wondering if you bought a kit, or are you buying everything separate? Do you have a cam in mind? Auto or manual? I assume pump gas and naturally aspirated. Looking to bounce ideas off someone. I also am thinking hard about going with a Holley sniper EFI unit on top.
150 bucks for a 880 I with the cam threads for the plate , a mech fuel pump and coolant provis sounds amazing I found one dude wants 600 he’s a 5 hour drive from me
Not anymore, remember that the inflation rate right now is insane so stuff costs substantially more than it used to. I run a machine shop and just the bits you use, the tooling and replacement parts $400 barely pays for a job. My other local shop besides myself charges $500
