thank you! I still have a lot to learn but tim cant has a comprehensive video on breaks. putting a break sample into slicex and shuffling things around on the piano roll is a good way to experiment. otherwise you can drag a break sample onto the playlist and cut it up there, so you can see its waveform and see where the kicks and snares are. using the metronome can help keep track if the break is getting a little crazy
