Thank you, I enjoyed this so much. Comforting. Encouraging, It really made me understand even more of the the beautiful Ps.91. I have stage 4 cancer, please pray me. Thank you. My the Lord Bless you richly.
As a believer in Almighty God and Yeshua I am amazed that no one has seen the wonderful science that is oozing out of the scriptures...that all things are made from God's Living Waters...an electromagnetic force that is proven to be in all atoms, all galaxies, all stars, and so, by default, all life. If we interpret the life, death, and resurrection of Yeshua, as a presentation of this righteous science we can also see that behind the teaching of Psalm 91 is a wonderful and powerful scientist, Almighty God, Himself, to back it up.
I love watching your Shabbat Sat A.M. service. Am going to try zoom next week. Thank you also for this,🕊️ I learn something from you every time I hear you!🦋
I only discovered Psalm 91 last week and have watched several different commentaries on it. This is by far one of the best, and the others were great too, but Rabbi Shana has given such a powerful meaning to it that it really resonates with me even more now. Thank you so much Rabbi Shana, I am keen to watch your other videos now. PS. I am not Jewish. 💗🙏
Can I just please tell you, it came on to me in 2019 to learn this Psalm off by heart. This is amazing to me of course now as not only did it become so personally relevant but it is also the Psalm that is so often now mentioned. Great is El Shaddai, the Almighty One!! Thank you for this very beautiful and informative video. (Your description at the end reminds me of Ps 1, the tree deeply rooted by the streams of water, it is one of my favourite images). Blessings to you.
Rabbi Shana, are you not aware of Rebbe Nachmans' OBM, "The Power of Psalms"? It is verse by verse commentary of Tehillim. Also, visit the Breslov bookstore. Many Tehillim sefers, especially the " The Fiftieth Gate: Likutey Tefilot" by Reb Noson's Wishing you all the best & have a good Shabbos!
Jewish scriptures typically come from the ancient Hebrew Masoretic text. Most Christian Bibles were translated from a Greek translation from Hebrew called the Septuagint. The Septuagint was translated from Greek to Latin in the Roman Empire and the one that Catholics use. All of the above were translated into English into other languages. So when you have translations of translations you’re going to have variations. The Samaritan Torah is a little different; the Coptic Christian Bible that never went through Rome is also different from Roman and Greek Christian translations. I might have a few details slightly fuzzy because I’m going from memory, but in general the modern translations came from translations of Hebrew. We jews are translating into English straight from Hebrew

Fascinating!
I hear 3 parts in this psalm, the writer, he (later became you), and almighty, and to me this "he" is pretty special
Amen!

If you want an interesting commentary on Psalm 91 Look for Michael Heiser. He tries to read it through the eyes of an ancient Israelite.
Hello. Can anyone tell me which version of the Bible she is reading? I am Christian and noticed the scriptures differ slightly from my boom

@@dinabarzilai9317 Thank you for the insight. I appreciate the detailed response.
Hi not just have trust in God I have too but few main thing in you people don't have believe you Jewish and you can understand because it's your mother tongue
First you don't that that Jesus Christ is Messiah has come in world according to prophecies second that he is son of God
But Christian has faith that he came before 2000 year and only salvation through
And your believe that he will come yet but Christian believe he will come but it'll be his second coming on earth
