The fact that he just thought at his Boy Scouts meeting “I should sing the FNAF 1 song by Living Tombstone” and went up on stage and just did it is way funnier then the talent show theory
i love that he's looking down the whole time. like he knows if he looks up and makes eye contact with anyone he's gonna start fucking crying or something
As much as some of us can be like "EWwww, Fan song. CRINGE" but every single one of us thinking that is just slightly in denial, cause some of them are really bangers.
As a member of DAGames, we take pride in, even if it’s a shitpost song, we wanna try to go as hard as possible. Cause that makes it funnier than anything we can shit out in two minutes lol
Huh, that’s a bold move, and I love it too. Despite “You’re Mine” Being A Sh*tpost, It’s Still Hilarious And Also A Banger Too, The Animation Is Amazing As Well.
Fun Fact about the Baldi Song: I know the thumbnail artist, and that's her persona that is tied down, and the reason why DAGames chose her to be the thumbnail artist was because of the fact DA knew how much of a Baldi fangirl the artist was like "Hey, do you wanna get tied by Baldi"
Fun Fact, NateWantsToBattle is one of the only people in this video that managed to escape and decided to finally completely move on from fan songs, making his last ever one a couple months ago. Good for him honestly, he managed to make some bangers during his time and used the success he made to gain fans that will stick around when he makes songs that truly mean something to him EDIT: also, the aforementioned last fan song he ever made was branded as a fnaf song, yet one listen to the lyrics reveals that it's actually just a song that is very obviously about how he REALLY just does not care about fan songs anymore and wants to move on, it's honestly a great song
i'm glad he's moving on his original songs are so much better than his fnaf ones, especially after the what you want album. Can't wait to see what he'll become.

DAGames is one of the best simply because a lot of his fan songs usually have amazing instrumentals and lyrics, while a lot of other fan songs tend to have good instrumentals but weak lyrics.
The thing that made DAGames stand out to me is that most of the time, the lyrics aren't directly about the game, but rather the themes or feel of the games. The easiest example I can think of is their Battlefield 1 song, which you could easily just assume is a WW1 themed rock song, without it being related to a game.

2010s fandom TH-cam was a wild time lmao. Nowadays, so many people dismiss it as cringe, and while there was definitely some weird stuff back then, there was a ton of genuinely good content, too?? Creators like The Living Tombstone and The Stupendium didn't have to go that hard, but they did 🤯 Good shit right there. _Join us for a Bite_ was probably my favorite FNAF fan song. The balance of poking fun at this type of stuff (and in an actually funny way) and retaining respect for it is really refreshing; love to see it! This video is a masterpiece 👏
the "hello neighbor?what a joke." got me to subscribe because i realized you have to be SUCH a specific person to even make that reference and especially in a video talking about youtube gaming songs
"i think he made this out of spite" He literwlly did This entire song was done as a "fuck you" to that one part of his audience that thinks he will make whatever they request regardless of if he actually enjoys the source material or wants to make a song out of it he made this as a show that he still has full control even when he's covering the things his fans suggest its not the first time he's done this ether The last time he truely made a song about something he REALLY didnt want to do was the undertale genocide song (He did pacifist and literally every single one of the comments at the time were begging him to make a genocide song, and he felt pressured, its one of his most disliked dagames songs)
He's been doing that for a _while_ It's the main message of his Fnaf World song, 'I Will Not Be Moved' It's really respectable and it makes them some of my favorite songs
You're right on that matter, but it was actually the other way around. Will said when reacting to his old songs a while ago that he wanted to do Genocide because he felt it was underrated, but people wanted a Pacifist song instead
I think the Stupendium has probably the best music videos for their songs. They welded a train for their Choo Choo Charles song. A train. Choo Choo Charles. TH-cam song. What?
I feel like the same can be said for his batim songs, as far as im aware he animates all of those music videos by himself, which is fucking nuts imo...
He is a Jack of all trades He can rap on an Eminem level He can animate pretty well He can write fire bars He can weld trains He can do pretty much anything

I'd love to hear Miracle of Sound get mention too! Though i guess Miracle of Sound is a little bit on the niche side of thing rather than Someone like The Living Tombstone or DAGames. I hope to see Aviators get a talk about too.
TH-cam fan songs are either amazing, horrible, or both at the same time and I love it. I really love the humor and editing style of this. This dude just sounds so real and funny. (First time watching one of his videos)
11:50 not sure if this was intentional or not, but if it was, this has to be the most genius ad placement of all time, you get to hear one millisecond of story of undertale before the ad cuts it off. Comedy gold.
So fucking true, I was watching it and I see a single frame and I’m like, “NO! FUCK!” I had to wait for like 15 seconds to watch something cringey like that… willingly!!! 😭🙏
The FNAF musical by random encounters is the greatest thing of all time. I literally (NOT JOKING) put it on when I shower from how good it is I (partially) remember the first 3/4 nights WORD FOR WORD.
Oh Random Encounters, a unique channel that I will always have a small deep down fondness for I may not be proud of how many of their songs ended up in my iTunes library nearly a decade ago, but they put so much genuine cheesy effort into them I just can’t be ashamed of it
Man, i really appreciate what you put into this video! It's clear you're pretty passionate about fan-songs, even ones that the wider internet might call "cringe". But cringe is dead anyways. I love the humor here and i'll certainly consider checking some of your other stuff out!
19:14 BUHFGUguUSHUSN AHAHAHAH I FUCKIN' GOT AN AD RIGHT WHEN SCHNEIDER POPPED IN I LITERALLY SAW HIM FOR A SPLIT SECOND AND THEN SOME FUCKING VAPORUB COMMERCIAL POPPED UP
I recognised pretty much all of these channels mentioned, yet the only one I have gotten more invested in over these many years is DAGames (and maybe TLT to a lesser extent). Their nerdcore stuff remains consistently great, and IRIS (What all DAGames' original songs are published under) is literally my favourite thing in music. Like come on, you can't convince "Into the Beyond", "Biobond" or "You're Better Off" aren't some dang bangers. It's insane how much he has grown as a musician and artist. His nerdcore stuff is the most appealing to the wider youtube landscape (I mean fucking hell 170 million views on his first Bendy song? which he himself stated he made in a day just for the heck of it.) but I encourage anyone who liked his fansongs and such to check out more of his original stuff.
Dude, Will is an absolute talent personified to me. So much that I'm going to be performing Left Behind on drums in a few weeks in a live my music school makes. He deserves credit so much. I also adore IRIS songs a lot.
Everything this man says is completely factual. Also as soon as you put on the beginning of Lhuegeny’s Undertale Genocide Musical it played an ad when it was 0.1 seconds and i knew exactly what you were gonna do next and i jumped back in fear watching my time run out as the ad ended.
I'm surprised you didn't cover a few artists. Two I'm a fan of are Or3o and The Stupendium. Or3o has made quite a few good songs with one of my regular songs I listen to being "What the Hell". She's also probably the reason why "Just Monika" is the only RE song on my whole playlist. She makes good original songs as well. I have yet to listen to any of her Clover songs but "Monsters" is probably my favorite Halloween song ever. And there is quite a bit of competition there. The Stupendium is best well known for their songs about videogames. The first one I listened to was "Art of Darkness" and it was a little over a year later when I became a fan of DDLC that I found "Why did I say Okie Doki?". However, my favorite songs are definitely their horror holiday songs. The fourth song is pretty meta in how Greg doesn't want to make another song even though they knows their fans want it. Last Christmas, they made a song about the backrooms which was a change of pace when it came to their horror holiday songs. One could make a whole video about the horror holiday songs. Simply put, their work is stupendous.
This video lives in my head so much, and it's perfect timing because just before this was uploaded I was also obsessed with fan songs!! I've watched this so many times because it's makes me laugh EVERY TIME. I know that every new video is going to make my day better 😭Okay that's it just wanted to express how happy this video makes me laugh!!
The line things can only go up followed by a fraction of a second of the story of Undertale and then an ad was the funniest thing that alone made me subscribe
I like the bloopers/ behind the scenes of Random Encounters. Specifically the Mario Bros. and Pizza Tower ones just because of their running gag of: "So we take Scapelli..."

I'd like to an honorable mention to JT music, they've been around since as long as the og fan song makers, but they never get brought up that often for some reason....
18:54 Saying Xander Mobus is best known for FNAF is like this article I read that said Zendaya was best known for Shake It Up, and not like Euphoria or Spider-Man.
Hello! I haven't read through all your comments yet, so if this was touched on already, I apologize! However, I can explain the cohesive stuff with the FNAF: The Musical series. Anything posted after the Supercut (Aka the first 5 nights) is part of a prequel series, and since the prequel series hasn't been concluded yet, not everything is resolved. However, since it's a prequel, Mark doesn't show up, because it's his first night at the start of the Supercut. Now, for Cuphead, the base RE team did the animation. However, they are not known for animation nor their drawing skills, so it did come out looking lower quality. (It was all drawn digitally and then animated in the same program that South Park is animated in.) They learned their lesson from that, and now hire other animators to animate their songs. In fact, AJ actually animated a part in the REanimated Cuphead project, and it was leagues better! (I'm also quite a big RE fan, and can help clarify anything you're confused about if I know the answer.)
unironically i really like Living Tombstone's original music, like I can't tell people that the living tombstone is one of my favorite bands without getting side eyed but their one album they've released is pretty great and the music videos are always really high quality too
I just realized that the first Random Encounters song I saw was "Wario Wrecks E3," which was featured on the Nintendo eShop. Also, I feel like they change some of the things too much in their songs. I know some of them would be extremely difficult to adapt, like Little Nightmares, but they could have just not made a Little Nightmares song, or made it an animated one, since they've done animated songs. And the Stanley Parable song is also weird, since they changed it so he works from home, which isn't too bad of a change, but then they made it so his buttons stop working, instead of having him stop receiving commands to press buttons or something. And the narrator doesn't seem to know what's going on, either, despite him having a clear idea of the story he wanted to tell in the original game.
my brother was OBSESSED w/ fgteev but only before their rebrand as fgteev- way back in the day they were the skylander boy and girl and ONLY did skylander content

The balance of poking fun at this type of stuff (and in an actually funny way) and retaining respect for it is really refreshing; love to see it! This video is a masterpiece 👏
16:11 “how did you find out they were alive? Same way you did.” *MACHINE GUN?*
Your comedic timing and clips you use are fucking perfect
the "hello neighbor?what a joke." got me to subscribe because i realized you have to be SUCH a specific person to even make that reference and especially in a video talking about youtube gaming songs
Does he not actually say it I can't hear him say that at all? Also I might be a fucking loser for this but can you explain the reference to me😭
"i think he made this out of spite"
He literwlly did
This entire song was done as a "fuck you" to that one part of his audience that thinks he will make whatever they request regardless of if he actually enjoys the source material or wants to make a song out of it
he made this as a show that he still has full control even when he's covering the things his fans suggest
its not the first time he's done this ether
The last time he truely made a song about something he REALLY didnt want to do was the undertale genocide song (He did pacifist and literally every single one of the comments at the time were begging him to make a genocide song, and he felt pressured, its one of his most disliked dagames songs)
god dammit I can't fix the typing mistake now
He's been doing that for a _while_
It's the main message of his Fnaf World song, 'I Will Not Be Moved'
It's really respectable and it makes them some of my favorite songs
THE GENOCIDE SONG WAS A MEME? I thought that was a legit song!!!
AND I ACTUALLY LIKED IT SO MUCH!
You're right on that matter, but it was actually the other way around. Will said when reacting to his old songs a while ago that he wanted to do Genocide because he felt it was underrated, but people wanted a Pacifist song instead
Banban’s song is literally just him saying this and also giving a lesson on the Striesand Effect.
You know a fan or parody song slaps when the lyrics to the parody are more memorable than the source material.
16:40 and NOW there is Glitchtrap and Elizabeth who isn't even a child.
Also I saw a bear start eating a face.
my screen froze and my computer crashed while he was talking about the living tombstone and I thought this was just a joke of his
I think the Stupendium has probably the best music videos for their songs. They welded a train for their Choo Choo Charles song. A train. Choo Choo Charles. TH-cam song. What?
I feel like the same can be said for his batim songs, as far as im aware he animates all of those music videos by himself, which is fucking nuts imo...
Stupendium is a master Fr their videos are a work of art especially their recent one 12 mins of master class wordplay
Dudes cracked man releases ridiculous quality videos per month I swear they are a computer with the speed they can pump out songs
I never watched the Choo Choo Charles one, but THEY WELDED A TRAIN FOR IT??
He is a Jack of all trades
He can rap on an Eminem level
He can animate pretty well
He can write fire bars
He can weld trains
He can do pretty much anything
IM SO GLAD SOMEBODY ELSE CARES ABOUT THIS
Man fandom culture is so endlessly facinating and i think Random Encounters was a really really big part of what got me into fandom in the first place, thank you for making this i really enjoyed it!

Can we get a sequel video purely about The Stupendium and the insane levels of effort and detail they put into their songs?
Where’s the second video just about jt music and stupendium like these two are literally masters of the genre one has been doin consistent quality raps for a decade and a half and stupendium is godlike at wordplay and videos
I'd love to hear Miracle of Sound get mention too! Though i guess Miracle of Sound is a little bit on the niche side of thing rather than Someone like The Living Tombstone or DAGames. I hope to see Aviators get a talk about too.
Wasent ad infinitum faster than rap god
@@Kajlj5000woawawI thought it was just the wordplay and alliteration but I would not be surprised if it was faster than rap god
TH-cam fan songs are either amazing, horrible, or both at the same time and I love it.
I really love the humor and editing style of this. This dude just sounds so real and funny. (First time watching one of his videos)
8:17 Fun fact: That song was made in one day. Im not jokeing
I can approve
11:50 not sure if this was intentional or not, but if it was, this has to be the most genius ad placement of all time, you get to hear one millisecond of story of undertale before the ad cuts it off. Comedy gold.
So fucking true, I was watching it and I see a single frame and I’m like, “NO! FUCK!”
I had to wait for like 15 seconds to watch something cringey like that… willingly!!! 😭🙏
There are some shockingly good female singers in these circles like Eilemonty and OR3O.
And don’t forget Chi-Chi.
Eilie DOMINATED mlp covers
griffinila/fandroid will always be my favorite fansong maker ever, surprised he wasnt mentioned though
I feel that so much 😭

The FNAF musical by random encounters is the greatest thing of all time. I literally (NOT JOKING) put it on when I shower from how good it is I (partially) remember the first 3/4 nights WORD FOR WORD.
Same dude omg 😭 it’s crazy how much I love the songs from night 1-4 to the point I can sing the lyrics (almost) word for word
I rewatched several Random Encounters videos out of curiosity. Honestly, I'm genuinely frightened of how much I remembered the lyrics.
Oh Random Encounters, a unique channel that I will always have a small deep down fondness for
I may not be proud of how many of their songs ended up in my iTunes library nearly a decade ago, but they put so much genuine cheesy effort into them I just can’t be ashamed of it
Man, i really appreciate what you put into this video! It's clear you're pretty passionate about fan-songs, even ones that the wider internet might call "cringe". But cringe is dead anyways. I love the humor here and i'll certainly consider checking some of your other stuff out!
Part of the reason why fandoms are so big is because of the fan song. Fnaf is probably the biggest example of it
19:14 BUHFGUguUSHUSN AHAHAHAH I FUCKIN' GOT AN AD RIGHT WHEN SCHNEIDER POPPED IN I LITERALLY SAW HIM FOR A SPLIT SECOND AND THEN SOME FUCKING VAPORUB COMMERCIAL POPPED UP
0:36 wait why is that guy wearing a blue bagder shirt???????
YES FELLOW IRIS FAN
Zero_one is such a good album
Dude, Will is an absolute talent personified to me. So much that I'm going to be performing Left Behind on drums in a few weeks in a live my music school makes. He deserves credit so much. I also adore IRIS songs a lot.
Yes definitely! That man is so absurdly talented in everything he does it's incredible
"This attractions a thrill! So many guards I can kill!"
Would've been infinitely better
Oh my god I just realized the original lyrics don’t even rhyme
Everything this man says is completely factual.
Also as soon as you put on the beginning of Lhuegeny’s Undertale Genocide Musical it played an ad when it was 0.1 seconds and i knew exactly what you were gonna do next and i jumped back in fear watching my time run out as the ad ended.
The same thing happened to me and all I saw was one frame combined with half of the first note and I just burst out laughing.
I had the same experience.
0:06 Bro, I legit use to watch random encounters like crazy. 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Fun fact: Most of FGteev’s songs are animated by the same people who animate LHUGUENY’s videos which makes it even funnier
The Stupendium got payed to make a fansong for Fallen London. They've moved up in the world :)
The Stupendium made a song so good that it is more well known than the challenge it was apart of (The House Always Wins)
Can’t forget about All eyes on me by Or3o and Find the Keys by Stupendium, preferably the 2022 remastered version
'A bear started eating a face'
The Stupendium is also a really good one, the set design in their videos is off the charts and their music slaps

The single reason i like random encounters is because you can tell they just have fun doing their stuff
As a fellow RE addict, I can’t say enough how satisfying it is to see someone share in the appreciation for quality music.
The line things can only go up followed by a fraction of a second of the story of Undertale and then an ad was the funniest thing that alone made me subscribe
DAGames appreciation, that man is my God of the Nerdcore, been following him for so long, basically introduced me Bendy even
MatPat calling himself Scott was a reference to meme of him being Scott.
I like the bloopers/ behind the scenes of Random Encounters. Specifically the Mario Bros. and Pizza Tower ones just because of their running gag of: "So we take Scapelli..."
I've never seen any of your videos before, but this is legitimately one of the funniest videos I have ever seen on this website. You deserve way more subs man, way to go
I love Phone Guy/MatPat/Scott Cawthon/Evil Dirtbag With a Chainsaw so much.
I love all of FNaF the Musical tbh, it's fantastic

18:54 Saying Xander Mobus is best known for FNAF is like this article I read that said Zendaya was best known for Shake It Up, and not like Euphoria or Spider-Man.
I am deeply disapointed that Stupendium didn't show up. Their songs are amazing
Stupes goes by they/them btw
Just as a heads up
I agree it’s a genuine warcrime
10:47 verbalace 50k incident, the prequel
unironically i really like Living Tombstone's original music, like I can't tell people that the living tombstone is one of my favorite bands without getting side eyed but their one album they've released is pretty great and the music videos are always really high quality too
19:52 This music video is baby’s first MSPaint and Soft Edge Brush
Matpat gives such a great performance
I want "frickin creepy" to start becoming a reaction clip on this channel
I just realized that the first Random Encounters song I saw was "Wario Wrecks E3," which was featured on the Nintendo eShop.
Also, I feel like they change some of the things too much in their songs. I know some of them would be extremely difficult to adapt, like Little Nightmares, but they could have just not made a Little Nightmares song, or made it an animated one, since they've done animated songs. And the Stanley Parable song is also weird, since they changed it so he works from home, which isn't too bad of a change, but then they made it so his buttons stop working, instead of having him stop receiving commands to press buttons or something. And the narrator doesn't seem to know what's going on, either, despite him having a clear idea of the story he wanted to tell in the original game.
shoutouts to the stupendium, dude is passionate in his craft and hardly skimps out on production value
I’m so glad I found this channel, it gives me my weekly dose of 2010s nostalgia.
