It's so intens beautiful, it rips (my) heart. Also very gripping is the scene, where Poirot has to decide, weather to tell, the authorities, who killed, on the Orient Express. As Poirot walks in the snow, he's angry, thinking. That music goes rambling deep, that build up, unbelievable intens. Composer Christopher Gunning is magnificent . Wouldn't it be something to have all these wonderful compositions, played by life orchestra, with on screen, the scene of Poirot. My, my I'm dreaming. What a great composer. What wonderful great compositions.
He gives her a cigarette case to remember him by and I got all weepy! Bravo to the series writer(s) for sliding this one passed the bitch's legal eagles. Or maybe they chose to ignore it.

Oh no, he actually wanted to use the theme from “Johnnie Waverly”. You can hear it from him in BBC’s documentary “Being Poirot” when David Suchet visits Gunning.
@@mais_oui2301 no, that is quite incorrect. I met with Christopher Gunning and he quite clearly stated that this was the theme he wanted to use as the main theme for the Poirot episodes.

He plays it too.
I love to sit at the piano and play many of the Poirot themes. This is indeed a lovely one, but also the theme from Dumb witness, the opening theme from Evil under the sun. However, mostly the lovely themes from Five little pigs and the beautifully haunting themes of Sad Cypress which of all the Poirot film scores I find the most beautiful and mournful the most. As well as the themes by Christopher Gunning, there are many beautiful themes by Stephen McKeon and Christian Henson composed for the series; all of which are a pleasure to play.

Man, this series really got everything *just* right. Every production choice adds to the DNA of the show and stamps the whole thing with a real uniqueness, music very obviously being included. Brilliant stuff 👏
I felt so much sorrow yet so much soothing sense of melancoly, as if someone finaly overcomed grief I didn't watched this episode, I'm going to do it right now

Hello! Thank you for uploading this great soundtrack from my favourite tv series! 🥰I was wondering why there is nowhere to be found the CD of Christopher Gunning "Agatha Christie's Poirot"... Not even on Spotify or to buy it on Amazon 🤔 It has some of my favourite tracks.. Especially, "The height of fashion"... They should definitely make a collection of the full soundtrack of the whole series... ( Sorry for my mistakes in English)

I would also say that the themes from Sad Cypress and Death on the Nile are extremely beautiful too.

Whoever writes these Poirot screen plays needs some new sources, their directing and stories are weak. No vitality in the series.
