Thanks Bruce. TDs are my favorite tanks to play, I enjoyed the video, and appreciate the insights. Going aggressive at the end of the game is a very effective strategy, as most of the tanks left will have battle damage, and be easier to kill with one or two shots. Also, fewer guns to shoot you when you go out to fight.
I have been looking for better ways to play my ISU 152. That gun doesn't work from too far away but the armor doesn't let me get in. I like the strategy you outline here, I will use some of these tips next time. Thanks Bruce!
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 *🎮 Tank destroyer players should adapt their playstyle based on the tank's strengths; camping isn't always the best approach.* 01:04 *🛡️ German tank destroyers like the WT auf Pz. IV have no armor and poor mobility but high alpha guns; play defensively, use view range, and take long-range shots.* 04:03 *🚚 Tank destroyers like the WT auf Pz. IV should focus on long-range shots, positioning for cover, and relocating early due to their lack of armor and mobility.* 08:21 *💥 The Grille 15 has no armor but good mobility; use its mobility to support the team, relocate often, and maintain full HP to trade effectively.* 12:13 *🚀 Mobile tank destroyers like the Grille 15 should follow the team, provide fire support, and use their mobility to get better results.* 18:20 *🛡️ Tanks like the Carro da Combattimento 45 t have superior armor; they should brawl alongside heavy tanks and use their armor advantageously.* 21:45 *🚀 Play tank destroyers differently based on their characteristics, such as armor and firepower. Avoid Red Line sniping and adjust gameplay accordingly.* 22:58 *🛡️ Tank destroyers have superior DPM, allowing aggressive playstyles. However, be cautious of flanking enemies due to weak side and rear armor.* 24:35 *⚔️ Use heavily armored tank destroyers to support heavy lanes, playing more like a heavy tank than a traditional tank destroyer.* 25:56 *🧭 Rush into enemy positions to bait shots and spot for teammates, utilizing your armor advantage.* 28:01 *💥 Use your tank's armor profile to your advantage, playing defensively or aggressively based on its strengths relative to the match's tier and opponents.* 31:23 *🔍 Assess your tank's value in each game based on its armor, firepower, and mobility, adjusting your gameplay accordingly to maximize impact.* Made with HARPA AI
I’ve been struggling in my tier 6 British td. Played a ton of console WoT and I do fine but pc has different spotting mechanics and I haven’t learned them quite that well.
Thank you for a great video. :D I play TDs a lot, but do not have the ones You featured in this video. Most of my games are in M10 and Super Hellcat. Jagdpanther ís a huge dissapointment to me, so I avoid it. Some time I will buy the tier 7 japanese TD, so I can run around with HWs. I also have swedish TDs up to tier 8, but hardly play em ever.
Try waffle with derp gun,it is much more mobile cos the gun is 2 tons lighter, i play mine with derp gun, but i do not camp,a am in the second line of support. Does not end up good sometimes hehe.
TDs....I don't like TDs with no traversable turret. I don't like having to turn the chassis to aim. Can't get on with that. IF I play a TD I want one more like a tank..with a big gun. After all many tanks could be called tank destroyers if they can destroy tanks. So to me a TD should have a powerful gun..to destroy tanks. Or at least do a lot of damage. As for armour it depends on whether I want to play a heavier slower one..like a slow heavy tank, or one with more mobility. I do like playing heavies so slow is kinda expected a lot of the time. But I don't go out of my way to play TDs a lot.

"Use your armour if you have it" *literally takes no damage the whole game*

Of course he is German. You can tell by the fact that his English is perfect unlike how the English speak.
