You're definitely not wrong! Making a race exhaust does strip out a lot of the fluff and you're not left with much left. But you'd be amazed how much work went into making sure this system made the most power, stayed lightweight, made of quality 304SS, etc. Kind of crazy to think of how many revisions we went through versus just making a simple straight pipe and calling it a day. Making sure the size of the pipe worked well with flow while keeping ground clearance in mind AND playing with the location of the cross over which we experimented with X and H's to make sure it was where it made the most power/torque!

@@BimmerWorldMedia --- NOW, NOW..... put up the Dyno graph showing the extra Torque at the bottom end.... I'm sure it has more power up the Top end BUT lets see that bottom end Torque......

Unequivocally not street legal, and won't be sold to customer for their street cars. Immediately proceeds to drive on the street, haha.

Catastrophic design. BMW designed the rear silencer like it is for a reason. Now the aerodynamics of the undercarriage of the car is totally destroyed, creating a lot of turbulence in the big hole where the rear silencer should be.
