So you will then be able to take the Part of Dan and play the Answer!! Its an age old idea in the blues world and is so much fun to jam. Watch and enjoy..... Thanks everyone!

Wow. Awesome playing Danny! love that you use the gibson and fender to compare each one. Both sound great.
Cool, cheers. The Fender shaped guitar is a handmade guitar I had made about 16 years ago. It has a PRS scale length with the contoured neck of my Les Paul. Reason for that is because I hated starts at the time but loved the look.
Just had to say thanks. Gave me an idea of how to improve my phrasing. Seriously took me a few mins to realize both players were you.

Love this video. In comparison to what you guys have hear, whenever I practice call & response, my licks sound so predictable and stale. Question you've probably been asked a thousand times: what's the best way to improve phrasing and achieve the comfort level that you guys exhibit here?

Love this! I have tried to repeat similar to what you are playing by listening and trying to play back from the sound in my head, but my stuff is very simple. How would you go about teaching how to play like this? Learn licks in C in each shape?
cricket emu Thanks for enjoying. Learn the pentatonic, all five shapes and do exactly what you are doing. Keeping it simple is great. Listen and try to mimic. You will play it your way then. There is no right or wrong way to do it but that will defo help. Also check out my Lick Friday series and that will give you so good ideas of how to use the shapes. Thanks again.
