I have saved my footage as jpg sequence, but the step that I am missing is how to get that into animate. I can't seem to find the sequence at 2:29 I lose how you got to the sequence of jpgs. Can you advise?

Im working on something like this now...Its a lot more complex. Involves a car, starting it, burn out, flames like in Back to the Future yadda yadda... But Im using an ancient photoshop, and its taking forever...frame by frame, and shading it by eye. Outlining movement is easier though, but I lost the timing of traditional animation (exaggerated movements). I may have to play with timing of each frame and change the fps to compensate... Last time I animated was in the 90s with one brief thing in the early 2000s....

Im filming real videos of my house inside where my character will be interacting with and my question is this. Any good resources or tips I can blend with Masking to make character feel more real when interacting with real objects? Im learning to understand masking more and maybe this example will help explain what I want to do...ex: my character is in bed and the bed is rreal video. Now if I want the character to move around the bed while he or she is sleeping, the bedsheet/cover will also have to move with character. I want to save time by not creating an animated bed cover sheet, but keep the real bed and bedcover and use masking for bits and pieces where the character will move around while sleeping and use color filler to blend the color of real bed cover with part of the animated mask of the cover sheet so it moves with the character while he or she is inside the cover. Basically , if the character turns to the right side of the bed, partanof the real bed cover sheet doesnt move and part is masked and animated to move slightly to make it more integrated and real. Not sure if this is good practice or faster way to animate, do you have better suggestions/tips/hacks and even resources to learn more on this?

my video on ae shows up as 720x480, and so i set my animate doc comp to that ratio but when i open the sequence in animate it looks so squished. the width is way too short even tho the doc pixel ratios for my animate , ae and media encoder are the same. the contents fits to all sides but it looks so squished on animate
How do I add my JPEGs onto the timeline? I followed the steps when importing JPEGs to the stage, however instead of turning up on the timeline it only imported to the library. Am I skipping a step? The steps I followed: File > Import > To stage > (I selected the first JPEG in my folder) > Import the entire sequence > Imported to library only
