So much quality info in little over 10 minutes. Absolutely superb. This is just what I'm looking for. Bravo maestro!
Great thanks!
Awesome teacher and guitarist ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Thanks Scot!! I love you channel!
Glad to hear that!
Scott, You make Spanish Guitar easy to understand. The relationship between the chords and improv have finally sunk in for me, I also now can see how the phrasing/timing of each section needs to be four bars or equal to the Rumba strum parts. I was in a rut for months, but now powering ahead.
Glad to hear it! 🤠
Juan Serrano's book is what got me into flamenco. Kudos for the shoutout!
Nice! More videos about him coming up!
I'm so glad I found your channel. You've opened up a world for me that I've always wanted to explore, and you're the right guide to have on my journey. Thank you so much Scot!😎 PS: The amount of pertinent info you pack into 3 minutes is amazing! 😇
What a great comment thank you 🙏
Not at all.@@TheVersatileGuitarist
Very nice! I play quite different styles (on steel strings), but I love rumba and tango, and got some very useful tips from you. Thanks!
Great! Get yourself a nylon string you won’t regret it!
I had that exact book, but really need a DVD or video to learn, not just looking at TAB or written music. This lesson is very useful. Thank you!
Stay tuned (😜) for my lesson where I show how to play Tempestad in a major key for a different and new song, and I’ll walk through all the sections
cool lesson, Scot!
Thank you!
Pretty easy to rumbafy Fly Me to The Moon this way!
Oh awesome, now I’ll have to make a video about that! I already made a bossa-esque arrangement of fly me to the moon
@@TheVersatileGuitarist and now I have to find your bossa version!
@TheHesseJames oh, I have it in my membership as sheet music but I haven’t made a video tutorial on it yet!
Another great lesson!
Great lesson. So useful and excellent explanation. Thanks 🙏🏻
Cool thanks for the kind words
Lovely
Scot, can a classical be used instead of a flamenco guitar to learn Rumba, etc? As a beginner in hope of a guitar soon, price is a factor in this economy and the cheapest so called flamenco appears to be Yamaha, while Thier classical offered are cheaper. Disabled so looking at used.
Yes you can definitely use a classical guitar, the only difference is the wood and sometimes the depth of the body
@@TheVersatileGuitarist Thank you Scot, for the reply.
