My pleasure friend, i was interested myself so did some research and shared what i found out:)
I’m originally from New Zealand and as a kid remember hunting for Kauri gum using a thin steel rod to probe around in the ground !
You needed an expert with you to be able to ‘read’ the feel of the gum....I unfortunately was never good enough do it !
Everything comes with practice:))
Listening to this while working a piece of amber. So much to learn and it's all so fascinating. Thanks for sharing these magnificent, ancient, golden micro-worlds with us. Reality is way more imaginative than fiction on the amber adventure! Cheers!
Glad u liked it😁

It is!:) amber holds tons of secrets and exciting stuff:)
Amazing and educational video. Thank you for sharing. Someday I hope to be able to go hunting for amber, and Baltic amber is my absolute favorite.
My pleasure! Glad you liked it😁🫡
OMG I adore amber. Diamonds do not much for me, too cold. But the warmth and light from amber is for me divine. I proudly own a box of amber jewellery, mostly cheap yellows, artificial green and red. Anyway, I hope they are natural (not plastic fakes) and my dream is to own a white necklace. I also love the mosaic ones, although it's basically amber grains mixed into white resin. But it looks good and quite artistic (even when also artificial). But I adore it and try to catch every exhibition on youtube or wherever. Thanks so much for posting and the playlist, getting right into it. More please.
Glad you liked it! Theres much more amber content on the channel😁
So amazing
This is the best explanation of the color grading process that i've seen online!! And I sell amber for a living!!! Top notch work my friend!! 5:25
Thank you Ryan😁🙏

Thank you 🌺
What for?:))
Thank you ! I odered some .I got a callor for my senior German Shepherd and it been a wk and I see a difference in her pain !
🙏😁
Very good history of amber! In Newfoundland we have many spruce trees...no amber that I know of....but years ago people used to chew resin as a stomach remedy or just for chewing gum!
Interesting😁, taste should have been very strong😁
Yes! But when you got a good piece going , you chewed it for days! After a while it got crumbly ...then you needed a new chunk!
I learned something new today😁
Interesting video
Glad u liked it😁
@@Amberscape :)
Love to know amber and love to have one!💖😊
Its awesome to own magic stones with life from the past😁
Very interesting! Those ancient forests must have been enormous!
No doubt about it, im currently hunting for treasures of these forests in poland:)
@@Amberscape alright, now i might just be a little bit jealous haha
Il share dont worry:))
@@Amberscape you better! :D
is that audrey hepburn picture on the wall behind you? great video by the way!
It could be, im not sure😁
I have read in a book (Rutleys elements of mineralogy) that Blue ambers are found in Dominican Republic and they gain colour due to soot particles from contemporary forest fires.
Can you tell anything more about these or blue ambers in general?
Loved the video❤
Sure! Dominican blue amber is not actually blue - it becomes blue when you shine bright light at certain angle - while baltic amber "blue" is related to actual certain minetals being in contact with white royal amber - and that blue is real blue without need of strong lights:)
I love your channel so much. Plus your cute face, accent and knowledge is so dreamy. ❤️ 💙 💜
Its to kind of you to say that🫣😁
@@Amberscape I have found amber in Nebraska while hunting for snails!
Realllyyy?? Can i see?
Olá ! Sou brasileira e gostaria de saber se o âmbar em contato com a pele pode curar doenças?
Olá, pessoalmente acho que não :)
👍👍👍
I am of the Baltic Sea. My mother North, my father Thunder. Amber soul of mine. And dark skies that wonder...
🇱🇻 Dzintars.
Whoa that sounds nice:))
How does it smell like , amber is very respected in perfumes , it is ranked just after agarwood , musk , ambergris and then amber . Does it really smell great ? Can you give me a type of guess ?
Greetings 👋😊
When im working on baltic amber in closed location - whole place smells like pine forest😁
@@Amberscape wow imagine how amazing that would be to lands who cannot even grow pine trees.
Must have been like Europe discovering pepper or nutmeg or cinnamon
Infelizmente não pude entender o inglês! Mas amei o vídeo
Thank you..😁
where can i buy baltic amber in warsaw?
I dont know , sorry, im not from poland:)
Is there copal in the Baltic sea?
Possible but unlikely, personally havent found any:)
Baltic Amber is beautifel. :)
Cant agree more:)
@@Amberscape I was looking @ amber bracelets all night. Lol :$ There all gorgeous!!
Somtimes i spent looking at crazy polished amber all night too:D with some crazy insects
@@Amberscape Oh cool, sometimes youde just get lost in the amber.. its just so pretty looking. I may do the same again tonight. :P
Dont get carried away, get some sleep too:D
what kind of insects involve in the amber would be more expensive according to the era
Hey there, didnt quite understood the question - specifically the "era" part:). You're asking which inclusions are the most rare and expensive in baltic amber? Then it would be hands down lizards , scorpions, gastropods and some rare plant inclusions:). As for isects hmm, i don thave to much experience but scenes kike copulation for moths are extraordinaly rare/expensive. Single most rare insect (not lizard or scorpion) would be probably the flea:), 15-20grand for the flea
Wow this is a great video thank you. We have two yellow baltic necklaces. I see other people with 'amber' necklaces and I wonder if they are real. I tried the salt water test on our necklaces and they floated. Tried plastic and went to the bottom. I dont want to sell them. Me and my daughters wear them. I do wonder what it is worth. Because I got them very cheap from someone selling all the necklaces of the grandma. Maybe if its worth a lot I should not let my 4yo wear one everywhere... it is too big for her.
Depends on the quality if the amber, if it has any cracks, color, if its opaque or transparent:)
@@Amberscape It is transparent with no cracks. I do think that it has been heated.
Opaque ones are valued more in javelery, for some reason😁, i like transparent ones a lot
@@Amberscape Maybe because most people will think it is plastic. When the sun is on it I do see a lot of difference.
And do combolois
My friend, not rasin, but resin..🙂🙂 Rasin is dried grapes😉.
😆
so how many of the pictures displayed are from your collection? btw it’s so sad to see people in the market falsifying ambers with inclusions :/
When u deal with amber you can see right trough fake amber:)
why do i find IT so interesting because Amber represents a Tribes of Israel on the breastplate mentioned in the bible ! ,a lot of Amber is also Orange Red OR Orange Yellow OR Orange Brown OR Orange Black ,not Just only Red OR Yellow OR black ...that is what i noticed because i had a amber Stone for a long time given to me by someone and i obeserved it much to remember that the amber that i had was orange .Its a beautifull precious gemstone .
We drink retsina in greece
The greeks wrote the trips they were doing
The greeks were going there for the amber
Yes greeks in ancient time got their hand on amber too, i know that from artifacts that were found in greece:))
@@Amberscape the greeks gave value to amber
they all look *orange* AF and you said they could be yellow, red, brown, white, black, greenish but you didn’t use the word orange a single time 😅🥲😂 haahah great video tho
Hah orange was too obious😁😁
There are some of us who prefer clear amber with no inclusions.
Thats fair:)
This was awesome. God bless in the Name of Jesus Christ our Savior our Messiah Amen. God bless in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit Amen.
