Taris definitely went through a lot oh hell just to at least get back on it's feet. Though one thing that unfortunately from the sound of it the main problem that the planet it had was never resolved. The Rak Goul Plegue that still infested it.
I don’t understand why the Old Republic would consider the world worth rebuilding. Especially since doing so risked spreading the rakghoul plague throughout the galaxy. She is the one that wants to surrender to the empire, her character resigned from the Senate in protest of the death star creation. I believe pam lo was her name ( I will not make a decision that leaves taris in flames. )
Taken from Wookiepedia: "The rakghouls began as creations of Karness Muur's Sith magic, but scratches or bites spread the plague-even to Force users like you." ―Celeste Morne to Cade Skywalker "Rakghouls were a type of Sith-spawned mutants, engineered by the Sith Lord Karness Muur. Desiring an army to rule over and seeking a way to cheat death as so many other Sith before and after him did, Muur forged a talisman that he poured his spirit and power into, one that eventually came to be known as the Muur Talisman. Muur's talisman could turn almost any sentient being near him into a mindless rakghoul which he could control, but he found that there were exceptions: Force-sensitives and certain alien species could resist the talisman's effects. Thus, Muur engineered the "rakghoul plague", a virus-like disease that could be spread by a rakghoul's bite or a scratch from its claws, and that subjected the victim to a slower transformation into a rakghoul. Jealous and fearful of his power, Muur's Sith rivals killed him, and over time, the Muur Talisman came to reside on the Outer Rim world of Taris where the rakghoul plague ran rampant throughout the world's impoverished Undercity, creating vast numbers of rakghouls. The people of Taris would manage to put an end to the rakghoul presence on their world at some point prior to the year 19 BBY, and by the days of the Second Imperial Civil War, rakghouls were believed to be extinct."

I recently learned thet In the clone wars there is a character named Kin Robb and she is a senator from Taris. That means that for 99% it was rebuild(I mean come on they had allmost 4000 years). Also in the imperial storyline the impire fully drives republic off. a tragic planat, but still an important piece in the story of star wars
At least it wasn’t Exterminatus
Pity it reminds me of Project Wingman's Calamity.
Can't say I'm familiar with that.
@@100StarWars Warhammer 40K orbital bombardment cranked up to 11
Also, Calamity is the detonation of volcano-like cordium from the aforementioned game. Really dangerous and shocking, experiencing these two.
After 300 years nope Taris never recovered play swtor and it will explain what happen to taris after.
I recently learned thet In the clone wars there is a character named Kin Robb and she is a senator from Taris. That means that for 99% it was rebuild(I mean come on they had allmost 4000 years). Also in the imperial storyline the impire fully drives republic off. I belive that Taris was abandoned by the republic back then, but when The true sith empire fallen about 2000 BBY some the republic decided to once again start the rebuild of Taris.
HK-47 is best sith
