Great Video, but you omitted to say that the T7i has Dual Pixel C-MOS Focusing. This is a game changer, coupled with an EF-S mount, and an external microphone jack tales the T7i to a whole different level!
Thank You Sir! My SL1 finally needs replaced after 7 years, and I think if i had to choose 1 of the 3, especially being tight on money, I will go back to my SL1. Its like the middle child with qualities from both into one, but being born first. lol Great Review Sir :)
yeah I was almost buying T7I because of the mount thing but after a quick search I realized both models support EF-S, the video made this part a bit confusing for me
I think he said go for the more affordable option unless you are doing video because most of their futures are about the same with the t7i being a bit better and having features that most ppl wouldn’t use. I personally have the t7 and I don’t see much of a difference besides the viewfinder not being able to move. It’s all about preference

I got both, so for just photography, I see no difference as far as image quality, but for video the t7i is say better.

Ef-s is the same as Ef mount. Both cameras have the same mount

Exactly. Just that little detail really turned me off. They both can take EF and EF-S lenses and both have the same 1.6 crop.

EF-S and EF are the same mount.
I'm pretty sure this camera can take both EF and EF-S lenses.
