The poise of Kilborn was monumental back in the day. Tremendous wit indeed. One is hard pressed to find another similar character like a Craig Kilborn...nice to spend the last 40 getting back to my youth with the Killer.
Man. Anyone else just listening to the old Sportscenter guys? Listened back to back to back. Makes me wish I was doing those shows. They seemed like they enjoyed what they did.
I’m still wondering if Kilborn saved the 50 year old bottle of Macallan that Vince Vaughn gave him on the night he quit the Late Late Show. It would be a $30,000 bottle of whisky at today’s prices
All these exclusives Kilborn is dropping on us...well here’s one. The character he played in Old School wasnt really a character. That wasnt acting, the director said just be yourself, and boy did Craig nail it.
I'd like to believe Kilborn is the type who invested his money just wisely enough over the years that he doesn't "Need" to be on TV/Movies, yet still pops up from time to time just to let everybody know he's OK.
From 7th grade through freshman year, I'd beg for Kilborn to host 6p cst sportscenter so he can finish the show with his favorite nba player. "Oh there's Pooh!"
I thought this interview was great, unlike the Bill Simmons pod when he was in the bag in a big way. One thing that annoys me is that people never ask him what he's doing now for work? IG vids don't count.
Anyone younger than 33 has no idea how important this interview is. I've been waiting for long form Kilborn for years
I'm 36, and you hit the year perfectly. This is more important to me than a presidential address.
I'm 37 and you're not far off, friend. The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn was my jam.
Yeah within a year. I wish he did this rocking the ole ascot
I'm in my 50s and I can honestly say this interview isn't important at all.
@@thejones1802 oh yeah you're way too old dude go to bed

Agree - it was the good ole days before 9/11, Iraq War, Afghan War & COVID...😑
Kilborn is my favorite ESPN anchor ever. Great at his job and funny.
He's not my vydas, he's not your vydas, he's Arvydas Sabonis drop step to the hole!! Missed you Craig, love the Instagram
Kilby was the greatest late night guy! I still go back and watch his stuff.
In 2004 craig killborn is leaving until guests hosts are here
"It's hard to drink with a Mic in the way" should be the title of Kilborn's autobiography.
I loved watching him as the Daily Show host as well as a late night host. Cool as a cucumber and funny has hell.
I was in the studio audience for a Kilborn "Daily Show." His work there was under rated.
Man. Anyone else just listening to the old Sportscenter guys? Listened back to back to back. Makes me wish I was doing those shows. They seemed like they enjoyed what they did.
Worth every second. 💯
Kilborn is still my favorite espn anchor. The “feel good” with killer and Mayne is still the best sportscenter.
utopian3d this
Forgot the "FEEL GOOD EDITION" was the late night Sportscenter!! Great memory
I’m still wondering if Kilborn saved the 50 year old bottle of Macallan that Vince Vaughn gave him on the night he quit the Late Late Show. It would be a $30,000 bottle of whisky at today’s prices
I’m probably one of five people who preferred his daily show in Comedy Central over Jon Stewart’s
I'm 2 of 5 - classic hidden great show
They had different approaches to the show. I enjoyed them both and I enjoy Trevor Noah now.
I enjoyed both, different type of show when Kilbourne did it
4 of 5

My favorite parts are when Kilborn compliments himself (which doesn't seem like a joke) and Eisen laughs like he's making a joke.
the best ever sportscenter host, the best ever late late show host, and the best ever daily show host.
I counter that with Keith Olbermann, Craig Ferguson, and Jon Stewart
Nice of you to post here Craig.
omg the old days...early to mid 90's ESPN pairings: Patrick and Olberman...Ravitch and Kilborn...Berman and Mees...
That was great thanks Rich!
Craig is one of the original OGs! He looks great.
All these exclusives Kilborn is dropping on us...well here’s one. The character he played in Old School wasnt really a character. That wasnt acting, the director said just be yourself, and boy did Craig nail it.
My 85 yr old mom absolutely loves Richie Eisen.
“I’ve now lost enthusiasm. I’m not doing it.”
😂😂😂
I remember watching Craig on KSBW in Salinas during the 90’s as a kid.
Craig Kilborn is the Shelly Long of late night talk show hosts. He looks and sounds like he should be pimping reverse mortgages.
Welcome home Kilby. Proud of you.
Played buckets against him in high school. Great to see his success.
First comment! Love you, Kilby. Proud of you.
Craig is a genius. The Late Late Show was so good.
Agree
Wow, this was great!
More Kilby as often as possible, sand dabs just aren't the same without him on the veranda.
the only true host of the daily show
Craiggers!!! The best ever!
Great cameo in Old School
I'd like to believe Kilborn is the type who invested his money just wisely enough over the years that he doesn't "Need" to be on TV/Movies, yet still pops up from time to time just to let everybody know he's OK.
"He's not your Vidas, not my Vidas, he's Arvidas"
I still say this. Why? No reason ever.
Craig was the best host, the only one I wanted to see more than guests.
I love Craig Kilborn.
Last time i saw Craig he was playing the "jerk" boyfriend in "Old School"
Last time I saw him was a craft Mac + cheese commercial. Lol
@@Mtbker456 *Kraft
I remember Kilborn on KCBA kids club hosting afternoon cartoons
I love this!!!
“Dave Justice, what a life, the home run...and Halle berry”
Kilborn was the best...There was no second.
Kilborn called out David Stern on Shaq getting special treatment from the refs. It was epic. Cant find it now.
O'Neal was getting it from Day 1. No other player received more preferential treatment in the last 30+ years than him.
NBA is staged
From 7th grade through freshman year, I'd beg for Kilborn to host 6p cst sportscenter so he can finish the show with his favorite nba player. "Oh there's Pooh!"
Does listening to Craig Kilborn feel like a little more polished Norm Mcdonald.
“He loved when I looked in the monitor.”
only 1400 VIEWS?!
Wow he's alive?!
It's guy code
Exquisite. . . Bring him back for NBA
Deep cut. Northern expo 🤣😂😂👍☃️
Always a personal favorite. Couldn't beleve it when he announced he was pulling the plug... in his prime. Who does that? Classy.
Get rid of Cowherd and give Kilborn a sports show!
Why didint you show the clips from ESPN!?! C'mon . It's a podcast so visual an yet you don't show it...
Hippie women love sarcasm! lol
The moment Kilby left late night tV is the moment the US jumped the shark.
Ladies and gentlemen, carefully Mr. Craig Kilborn!
I used to love Craiggers' hair on TDS. Coupled with the late-'90s earth tone suits was peak hetero style.
Once every 20 years.......seems right.
That made my day
I guess we’re not knocking?
I thought this interview was great, unlike the Bill Simmons pod when he was in the bag in a big way. One thing that annoys me is that people never ask him what he's doing now for work? IG vids don't count.
Wow..a Journalist/Comedian that wants to separate the show from politics. Hmmmmm what a great idea!
Craig Killborn needs to return with a show!!!! I mean I could do it and all...….just not as good you see.
"the vision"
Craigererrss!!
Rich Eisenhower is the Johnny Carson of our age. Love his show no politics ,no social commentary and tired jokes.
Hahahahahahaha
It's a sports talk show? Johnny Carson?
@@erikh448 yes very entertaining show.
I remember being disappointed when Jon Stewart took over The Daily Show.
Missin' ya

CK!!!
jobim - you got that right, craig
A rumbling stumbling walk down memory lane
Watch out for the wood nymphs
look at the little sparkys
Craig lost his timber
Kilborn has had what 10 years out of the spotlight? I hope he saved enough cash for that early retirement
He did INCREDIBLY well.
@@HaleysComet81 how?
@@mpbh6672 he had a huge contract with his late night show and it was on for years, and not to mention his contract with the Daily Show. He's fine.
...Kilby needs to man up with gin, though
um, krakatoa is actually west of java
Pooh-Pooh Ka-choo.
Just win baby (no matter what)... it appears.
I mean, except for the winning part, yeah.
Kyle Kilbride!!
They needed DP and KO on this interview.
People also got sick of Kilborn's entitled attitude.
Craiggers: 25 years later and Lassally is still buthurt. lol
Thats why...jajaja
really bad career choices craig.....
rich eisen > dan patrick
Glad to see Craigers is losing his hair too.
Looks to have the same hairline completely, sorry dont see it
Craig has always come off a little smug and self-centered.
erik h “I wrote an interview in the LA Times where I interviewed myself”
Wicked sad. This guy Kilborn amazing talent. Walked away from major franchises. You can tell he has lot so much of his fast ball
fastball? wtf r u talking about? lol!!!!
What lol
That’d be Joe Biden.....
@@ericstrat3579 Hey folks, we got a snowflake right here

Man, he really looks old now...
hes not aged well.. but darn funny.. shouldve stayed at espn
blasphemy; tight pores, gorgeous hair, 6% bodyfat, undeniable panache, tremendously humble, the opposite of so many mass media career sleazebags.
Craig has aged horribly.
WASP rule the world when they're young but age quickly. Kilborne, Matthew Perry, John Elway etc...
