The second thing on this video is a prove that the devs loves this game as much as all the Zelda fans out there. All the attention to details are crazy
I agree but the same can you say for a lot of other great open world games. Skyrim - after 10 years. Red Dead Redemption 1-2 or the GTAs for example. The Dark Souls games of course. Games are just too big nowadays that a lot of hidden secrets will always be there to discover - and a lot will remain unexplored. And this is the reason the developers should publish a guide book after a few years so that we can fully cherish their work!
That backflip damage trick reminds me of the iron boots in Twilight Princess,if you roll, you slightly damage enemies if they're near you or in front of you
This is probably the most shocking video out of the series for me! I really didn’t know most of these! I’ve loved using these tricks in my playthroughs.
This game is by far the most influential game of all time. The amount of games that have been inspired by breath of the wild and the fact that it's still being talked about to this day is mind blowing.
The great thing is that Dark Souls was inspired by the Zelda series, Breath of the Wild was inspired by Dark Souls and, now, Elden Ring has clearly been inspired by Breath of the Wild. Every game designer takes some good ideas for other games and it is perfectly fine.
Ehh not really imo breath of the wild is just like most open worlds with less hand holding. Suddenly climbing towers and enemy camps aren’t a problem when it’s Zelda…
5years already?? That's crazy, i still remember the whole hype about the switch and botw, i remember watching in loop the trailers and being curious about how it'll turn out lore and gameplay wise, botw is I C O N I C, i couldn't afford it so i would just follow gameplays, the fact that the game has soo many details that are still getting discovered to this day is crazy
I will always be so excited for these videos. I have around 800 hrs on botw between my two profiles (400 on one guessing on the other but I use it just as much) and this is my second switch! And there’s still so so much I don’t know. It’s incredible
5:04 Wow! 11 points of damage, it seems? Quite a lot. Is it manipulable in some way? This video is by far my favourite of the series. So many terrific easter eggs and mechanics!
I noticed all the elements of the temple of time when i first got this. I was blown away that my favorite game as a kid i have good memories with playing with friends and family many times i went crazy analyzing it in BOTW. I found lota cool stuff thinking there was more to it at the time.
Just decided to re-play the game, bought it opening day, waited in line at my local GameStop for the release party, still remembering how awesome it was and the friends I made in line. One dad in my opinion won Dad of the year then. He waited and camped out with us for over 24 hours because he didn’t want his 13 year old son to do it out of fear of what sort of things go on in those release date camp out parties. After a few hours this dad realized the Nintendo community is awesome and his son came and joined us. This dad ended up ordering food for the 40 or so people that were in line. Great memories and still love this game. Will be camping out again when they come out with the sequel.
Well I learned 20/22 things. I recently heard about the recently discovered glitch almost a week ago and I’ve know about the ice/fire bourse for about a year. Can’t believe everything else is new to me after playing this game for 2-3 years
Dude these are wild! I just got an O'Led last wednesday and dove deep into BotW. Cleared whole map, but exploring before going to find memories and major cities. This really helps my adventuring vibes dude! And this popped up as a rec vid so auto sub now hahaha!
I just got back into playing botw yesterday after almost a year of not touching it, and I must say I completely forgot what an experience it was. I was constantly going like “woahh what??” when I ran into something I didn’t even know existed, and when I saw one of the dragons I just stopped where I was and gazed at it with awe. Amazing game
Every time another one of these videos pops up on my feed, my jaw drops. Props to this team for continuing to discover so much about this amazing game.
@@SkinnyMuscles69 Amazing attention to detail, and all of the possible game-play mechanics makes this game one of the best games I ever played, already looking forward to the feeling of loss and emptiness whenever I finish this game :)
I remember losing my mind when I accidently turned ganon horse into an ice statue😂. The craziest thing I've seen is in one of the swamp areas with a tower. You're encouraged to hop from rock to rock before climbing the tower, but evidently, you can cryonis under the rocks causing them to topple over. Never would have thought of it. The number one thing I still wanna test right now is if you can hit an electric boomerang with a shock arrow to make basically an electric boomerang. Or maybe lighting a regular wooden boomerang on fire for a fire boomerang (assuming they have wooden properties).
I'm personally proud to know the second one. I spent several hours exploring every nook and cranny of that area to really appreciate it and I'm glad others are doing the same!
I mean, I always believed that Nintendo knows about such exploits and allow them as long as they aren't game breakingly easy to do, but this just goes on to confirm it. I mean, it does make sense. Sakurai did talk about wave dashing, and that's not an official thing.
I still can't believe these videos are still coming out. Just when you think there's almost nothing else left to look at in this game, 5 more of these videos come out, each with at least 20 facts each.
I also just found out that if you upgrade the Stealth Armor Set to lv 2, you can run up to bugs and animals for easier collection. Probably something everyone already knew but I just found out and thought was pretty cool.
Here’s a fun little tidbit! The sparks on your metal equipment warning you that lightning will strike will ignore the slowdown of bullet time. Even if Link, enemies, and everything else is moving at a crawl, the sparks still go off in rapid-fire and the lightning hits very quickly, even if the lightning strike itself is slowed. Weird.
I had already seen that first trick but I had no idea it worked for korok seeds! That’s honestly huge! And that din, farore and nayru symbol discovery is really cool!
You probably have mentioned this before but the mannequins where clothes are displayed have different regional looks. The hyrulean ones in hateno are just blocky wood but the gerudo ones are ornate with gold patterns and the Zora with silver emblems
You know i was star fragment hunting and watching this video so i don’t just stand doing nothing and then learned about item transmutation, this really came in at the moment i needed it the most
I knew like... two of these. Can't believe there are still so many new things being discovered to this day. I was a bit surprised to see the Champions' poses in this though. I noticed that the very first time I watched those cutscenes. It was obvious to me so it's a bit surprising to hear that so many people didn't notice it
Just started to play this game for the first time and I’m trying not to watch these videos for spoilers but wow lol 5 years later these are still popping? I’m kinda worried I might miss A LOT if I don’t take a look at this 😂🔥
A cool thing that I have noticed in the game (not sure if this has been discussed before) is that you can see the ancient gear item in the 'neck' of the guardian. if you want to put that in the next video... (also great videos by the way)
The thing about how the shrine music works is not a new trick: way back in Ocarina of Time, the Hyrule Field music does this, having several different 16 beat segments that play depending on the time of day, where you are in the field, if you’re in battle, and other factors. Twilight Princess also does it for its version of the Hyrule Field music, which is why the OST version of the Hyrule field music is so different from what you hear in game: for the OST they just kind of put all the different pieces in an order, when normally the different pieces would be loops and shuffled and only play in certain circumstances.
Really appreciate the spoiler warnings for a 5 year old game. I only started playing this last week and knowing when I can dip out and still enjoy this content is just... *chef's kiss*

Amazing!! This game is in my top 3 favorite games.
It’s moments like this that make it still one of my all-time favorite games. Elden Ring may have better visuals, and arguably a better sense of discovery, but it still can’t hold a candle to the mechanics, systems, and overall design that BOTW boasts.
The open world exploration is much more enjoyable in BotW. Combined with all its systems and mechanics its really the best open world game. Elden Ring would be a good game without the open world. BotW wouldn't. Its instrumental to all its elements. From game design to world design.

Honestly I think stun lock was left unpatched in the original game due to the overwhelming majority of physical game sales for this title. It would be possible to patch only digital versions without a re-issue of the title and that still wouldn't account for the copies sold prior . Releasing the patch as DLC worked exceptionally well given how good the DLC is . Everyone I know with a Switch has this game and it is physical release along wish the DLC . Even people still exploiting the glitch own the DLC, they just don't have it installed .
