Thank you so much, Cam! This is BEYOND HELPFUL! Appreciate you answering my questions and the ones from others who were having challenges - especially for puttiing together something so comprehensive. I learned a lot and you really helped me shift my perspective on how to best use this tool. I ended up with a version of my song that love so much more than one I thought I loved using your tips. VERY GRATEFUL!
Thanks so much for the feedback and positive words! Your questions played a big part in the direction of the video so a big Thank You to you, as well! Happy Songwriting!
I'm expeirencing the same problem that you discuss at 34:33. I do it exactly like you instructed but Suno goes out side of the selected Lyrics and changes inflection and in some cases entire segements of the song . You mention just rolling with the changes BUT in this case SUNO took out what I liked most about the song . I can send you a link if you want to see what I mean. It is INCREDIBLY frustrating and is the main reason why I am moving away from this process .
You might get away with replacing a single section, but trying to do a replace on the modified output for a different section doesn’t seem to work. It can’t seem to track where the lyrics are past the edit very well.
@ Different section. It might have to do with where the replacement was needed. Before and after a bridge/fill. The pink selection area is not big enough to expand to both ends. That’s one problem. The other problem is that the lyric wasn’t a continuation thru the bridge. It ended before the bridge, but Suno wouldn’t select it because it thought it was after. Yeah, ik my description might be a little confusing 😅
@ Let’s say I wanted to change a lyric “hello there”…. Was like: hello there-(bridge)--person. But the lyric selection wasnt big enough because it thought: hello-(bridge)there person. The selection box wasn’t wide enough to cover “hello there” because of that.
@ And if I just selected the lyrics before the bridge, I would end up with too many words in the output. Trying to go back in to remove the extra would just have the same problem
@@smurfythesmurf I have an idea you can try, let me know if this solves it: >> Use Replace Section in the original track for only the part before the bridge and get that section to how you like it >> Confirm Replace Section for the best replacement track that you received >> Now that you've replaced the pre-bridge lyrics find the timestamp in your new track where you want to start replacing the post-bridge lyrics. (Just do this using the play button, don't use Replace Section for this part) >> Click on "Extend" on your new track in the either the Create or Library view >> Input the timestamp into your Extend prompt you determined in the previous step >> Put in your new lyrics for the post-bridge, as well as ALL of the tags and lyrics that come after this section >> Create 4-6 extended tracks and review >> Hopefully you'll find something that works. If you do, go to the extended track use the Get Whole Song feature I hope this helps! Let me know if you're able to get something worth keeping out of it.
I want to change lyrics in the chorus, which means at least three times I need to change, and then I found that once I change one part, when I highlight the next section of chorus, the lyrics does not show the right lyrics. it shows around 20 seconds before. I cannot change the lyrics therefore.
You might be able to use Extend instead, although the song may end up changing a little. It'd be like this: >> Go to your song in the Library >> Extend button >> Choose the timestamp for where the changes begin >> add all your updated lyrics, plus all the unchanged lyrics that follow after >> Extend a few times and see if any Extended versions come out that you like Let me know: A) if it works, or B) if not, did it get closer to what you were going for even if it wasn't an exact fit?

@@smurfythesmurf Were you trying to replace the same section that already was replaced, or is it a different section of the song the 2nd time around?

Recreate section is a scam right now.
It can be pretty tough to get stuff to come out right with it, for sure. What issues have you been experiencing with it?
