Welcome to our channel JoyOFLittleThingsvlog. In this video we are sharing full details about the best homestay that we stayed in Darjeeling known as Himalayan Retreat. We booked our stay from MakeMyTrip. It was a whole 2bhk Apartment with all the modern amenities including Bed Warmer, Room Heater, Microwave , Fridge , Geysers , Rice Cooker, Water purifier , Utensils , TV and Wifi.
It is about 10mins walking distance from Darjeeling Mall and is located in Dr. Zakir Hussain street.
We parked our car beside Bhanu Bhavan which was arranged by the manager of the homestay (Raj). It was paid parking with Rs.500 per day. The parking was quite safe and well maintained.
We had our breakfast , Lunch and dinner in Darjeeling's renowned Glenary's and Dekevas restaurant. The food was amazing and quite reasonable.

Next time when you visit Darj again, must try other restaurants too for momo n other tibetan items , better than Kunga , like Penang ( just opposite to GPO ) ......there are many others all over Darjeeling .
