I had an Epson 720p projector for years ‘09-‘12 and upgraded to an Epson 3020 3D projector and it was night and day difference from the first. I had to return it within warranty because a corner of the screen had faulted but I repurchased the same model in 2020 for my theater room. I loved it still at 1080p. I also purchased a 77in LG C9 that summer for my living room. Projectors can’t currently compete with OLED, they both have pros and cons. There is just something awesome about having a 10ft screen for movies and games that others don’t understand.

I think it's a 3 LED, single chip DLP? Cycles through RGB LED instead of a colour wheel. 3 chip DLP is silly expensive, but would be brighter due to 3x the illumination time with the same light source.

I stand corrected. You're right about it being a 1 chip DLP. When I looked up the specs, it initially said 3 chip, but when I found the manual online, it does say single chip. Thanks for letting me I know. I appreciate the feedback.

@@2ndHandHomeTheater Single chip sharper, and 3 LED diminishes the rainbow concern. Still it's a pity 3 chip DLP aren't more affordable.

SHOW US THE ACTUAL PJs up and running with a talk through :) it would help massively instead of a floating head talking for ages.
