This by far was one of your best viewer equipment videos. The interaction between the two of them and the way they played off of each other was awesome. Thank you Michael for letting them just run and explain everything they did to upgrade their apartment. Tom is a lucky man. Not many men have wives who are all in when it comes to home theater and stereo building. (She wanted a bigger screen !!!!).

Thank you for the kind words Troy. You are correct they are absolutely incredible. Funny story, we got halfway through filming and I realized that I never turned Tom’s mic on. I knew the video would not be near as good without a dedicated mic for him because we would’ve picked up a lot of room noise and his voice would not be as clear. Both of them were More than gracious and glad to redo the entire video. They said almost exactly what they said the first time LOL. You can tell they have done this with just about everyone that has entered their home for the first time. Today’s video features a very budget friendly, incredible sounding set up that certainly will not break the bank.

Amazing home and awesome home theater!! I love how you can instantly hear the difference in sound deadening once you moved into the theater. lol. Also love the NX7 which is probably my favorite projector overall!!

Tell me about it. LOL It was pretty dark but I brought two LCD lights. Did the best with what we had. I think it turned out pretty well.
Best thing about this video is Laura and Tom as a couple. Their humor, enthusiasm for each other. Tom & Laura just laugh with each other all the time. They are a great example of people who have thought through their needs and developed a strategy to get there. Great video. Thank you! I too have the JVC and originally purchased a 1.78 screen that now sits in the garage. The 2.35 aspect ratio - only 150” is lovely.

Wow, this is epic on so many levels! The amount of acoustic isolation is serious business! Did they say if their neighbors can hear anything at all? Bathrooms are epic, love all the high end gear in the theater, and most of all, I love that they are both into this together! No WAF to worry about in their house! :)

Very nice dedicated HT. This couple makes me realize what I could've done in my 30's if I didn't have three sons to send to college.
Thankfully in my 50's I was able to build my dedicated HT. Also, in the midwest winter a 192" screen at home cancels all winter stir crazyness, or covid isolation blues for that matter. Thanks Mike.
