Thanks for sharing your story Matt, my son just turned 26, back pain on an otherwise healthy person is a flag. Your GF is a keeper. Praying and positive thoughts!

Hi Matt thank you for sharing your story. My son is 27 and just diagnosed with testicular cancer. Your video is really helpful. Bless you ❤️ keep taking care of yourself
Matt - your strength through dependence on the Lord is a strong testimony. Thank you for sharing your story. I have had small lymphocytic lymphoma since 2013, and the support of the community of believers has meant so much to me. Praying for you ...
My beautiful sister died last January from breast cancer. She ate healthy, she took great care of herself, she looked very healthy, and suddenly she had symptoms and was found to have Stage IV cancer. 😢
Good for you, Matt. You were super young and had great fortune to have Lauren in your life. That’s quite rare. Hope everything’s going great for you. Thanks for sharing your story too. That’s just as brave.
I'm so glad you got through this. I wonder what was the connection with the back pain though? When you hear complaints of back pain, nobody would automatically make that connection
Heredity factors have to be considered. My wife had breast cancer at age 41 and died from it at 51 years old. Oncologist counciling to us to make sure that our children be checked for cancer by age 31. 2 out of our 3 children had cancer at age 31,daughter had uterine/ovarian cancer and son had testicular cancer. Both are cancer free on there 10th anniversary of there surgery. Cancer was very prevalent on my wife dad side of family. If you have children make sure there proactively monitored. Sad to say no natural grand children but adopting has given me grand children. Thank you for sharing a silent young man killers symptoms .
When I go for my follow upd and my Urologist asks me how I'm doing ? I tell him well it's a bit losser down there. I try and joke about it as much as I can.
Hi what kind of testicular cancer did you got, I got diagnosed on 2019 seminoma stage 1 testicular cancer now I am on surveillance and check up and follow up and I just did my blood work and ct scan pelvis and abdomen and I am waiting for the results and been very stressed till the results comes out, all the best
@@DuiDean I got diagnosed with Stage 1 Pure Seminoma too. Had surgery on the 9th of May & one round of Chemotherapy at the beginning of August 13 days before my 29th Birthday. I'm having follow up blood tests too & got a chest CT scan April 19th. All the best with your latest tests.
It would be helpful if the interviewer asked the patients if there were any lifestyle factors that might have contributed to getting cancer. For example: tanning, stress, irregular sleep, little physical activity, smoking, exposure to dust/asbestos, using a lot of makeup (talk, nail polish, hair products), exposure to scented products/perfumes/VOCs, cooking on pans with PFAS/PFOA, eating out /getting fast-food/takeout often, eating processed food with artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, drinking sodas/alcohol, eating a lot of processed food/meat, profession (miner, hair stylist, nail technician etc.), exposure to chemicals.
A lot of this kind of thing is genetic, a genetic flaw, that also explains how a toddler can have cancer when they tell us it takes like 30-40 years of exposure to cheicals or cigarettes to cause cancer. I believe the flaw itself causes an immune system failure to recognize and destroy the early cancer before it turns into a baseball sized tumor and spread everywhere. Normally the immune system destroys cancers that start, until it doesn't. ALso, a youtube medical video about angiogenisis with Dr Juddah Folkman (sp?) explained how there is a primary tumor that grows, and it sends out "seeds" that spread out and remain dormant- as long as the primary tumor is there and secreting a substance that keeps those "seeds" dormant. So the surgeon goes in and removes that primary tumor and thinks the cancer is all gone but it's NOT! all those "seeds" that were dormant and kept that way by the primary tumor now start growing, and developing a blood supply. The animations on how it works was really creapy, like monster invaders from outer space in a sci fi movie!
So you just listed a bunch of random things that may cause cancer but not really proven to cause it , you might as well list air cuz it can be anything , genes, being Caucasian which have the highest number of patients when it comes to testicular cancer and many other factors . It can happen to anyone
My little brother very likely has testicular cancer. He isn't officially diagnosed but the doctors are nearly sure. They found a mass on his testicle but cannot fully confirm its cancerous until it is removed. he is 30 years old and a few weeks ago his testicle started swelling and hurting. He went to the hospital for blood testing, and they sent him for an ultrasound the very next day. He is going to have surgery tomorrow so we can see how bad it is, what stage, ect. He is a very healthy guy who looks after his body, exercises, eat a clean diet, not overweight, never smoked, and doesn't drink. and me on the other hand (33 years old) was VERY hard on my body, struggle with addiction to alcohol, smoked for years, used drugs in my younger years, am overweight. Life just isn't fair sometimes. Hopefully my brothers is caught early enough that surgery will be enough to fix him. my parents are very upset as you can imagine. We just lost our father last year at age 63, it's been a rough go lately.
Testicular cancer seems to lean more on the genetic side, one is born with a predisposition to it. I, for instance, did get it while morbidly obese. Good wishes for your brother, though, may it be something else. And if it is, well, he can rest assured that he'll get on the other side just fine.
Praise God for saving your life and praying for the same God who spared you to keep you healthy! Hallelujah! I could see a light about you and could tell you were Christian. God bless you and thank you for sharing. May God richly meet all the needs of your family 🙏🙏🙏

Hey! Thanks for asking I did! It’s not cancer! 🙏 I forgot what it’s called but one of my testicles is producing bits of calcium or something and it’s causing swelling and discomfort. There is speculation that there’s a link between the thing I have a cancer but not enough evidence. All I heard was not cancer and kinda didn’t care about the rest 🤣
I had the totally opposite outlook after my testicular cancer. I'm a complete A-hole now lol. I was stage two and had surgery and three weeks of radiation. I was only suppose to have two weeks and a less dose. But they wanted to make sure. The radiation went from my pelvis up to my chest...Now I'm cancer free but, I have a terrible time getting an erection. I'm taking 100mg of sildenafil and it's still not working all the time and nothing like it use to be...F my life!
I have erection issues and ejaculation issues as well. The pills don't work for me and I need to use a penis pump and another medical device to ejaculate called a PVS device. I'm so upset about that.
