Belt issues and ignition issues at the same time. Id be looking more into the stock belt setup because of the hp she runs, but also is the crank and cam sensors/harness seeing too much noise and causing the misfire, been in a similar situation with a 1uz.

@@HDAutomotiveAus I get that mate but normally when people do a test drive and the cars playing up thats because it was a persons own build in their shed that obviously has learning curves etc. But Sam has paid for qualified experts to put this high tech expensive gear together and you'd expect it to be done right the first time. It is what it is so no need to get your knickers twisted over my comment as long as yous are doing right by him and make sure you get the thing running right that's all that matters 👌
The whole build is a learning curve, HD (or pretty much anyone in Aus) have never done a 1000HP+ 1FZ before, so not sure where the idea came from that it would be perfect. Even race cars don’t make this much power, and they still have full time mechanics/tuners follow them track to track. Just how it is. Do something no one else has done and you’re 100% going to have hurdles
Impressive skills to build something like this, BUT...lots needed to get reliability into the mix...not my scene...no point in exploring beautiful nature driving sometimes like a rally driver with an 80 sounding more like hellbent ghetto Nissan snorting guba juice...big power, nothing else...
