    I was born in Meguro and my parents were married at Meguro Gajoen. Nostalgic.

    Enjoyed the walk around Meguro with your friends Mike and Lawrence. And what a stunning hotel. Should be worth a visit next time I am in Tokyo.

      Did you mean this one? 🏰
      😂 yes, I’m thinking to have lunch one weekday there with my wife. People have been writing on Discord that it’s really good!

    Nice hotel!! Will check it out next time I am in Tokyo. Will take a couple of months unfortunately. Just back home. But this one will be definitely on my list.

    Yes, Nakameguro is the one you want to go to because of the cherry blossoms along the Meguro River and the Starbucks Roastery!

      Can’t complain about Meguro, we had good ramen and they have a lot of hidden stuff but Nakameguro is the spot for tourists and bistros etc.

      A lot of Americans living in Japan. It's very hard to get Japanese citizenships.

    The old Okura Tokyo hotel was torn down and rebuilt. It reopened in 2020ish.

    is there a luggage deliver service at every station? I wanted to check if chidoricho station has the luggage service so I can send my luggage from Osaka to there without having to carrying around 😅

    • @onlyinjapanGO
      @onlyinjapanGO  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      You can send it from every hotel and every convenient store via Takyubin 🐈‍⬛ 🧳

      @ thank you, do you know if it possible to send from one convenient store to another? planning to send to store next to where i will be staying, the hotel we booked is an online check-in style, they don't have reception to receive luggage, so I wanted to know if it possible to send to the station i'll be getting off shimomaruko station or convenient store near there and i'll go pickup when arrived

    Thanks John, I like this format. A bunch of friends exploring an area of Tokyo. Out of curiosity, what kind of work Mike is doing in Japan?

    Missed this one - question (curiosity is eating me right now) - you can walk in and eat there?

    • @onlyinjapanGO
      @onlyinjapanGO  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I think so, yes. Any hotel, if they’re available. I used to eat for lunch at the Imperial Hotel restaurant, amazing ebikatsu sando! I looked open and available at this time. Seems worth it for a special occasion! Gotta take Kanae.
