Great guide! I can imagine how he would have helped me in February when I had neither engineers nor materials and I missed the opportunity to damage the first titan while I was looking for all this. In the guide, not only the fit of the vessel, but also detailed instructions on how to fly to the titan. Very useful!
Since you arrived at the maelstrom with 75% hull, that probably means you got interdicted at least once. Maybe you should also have demonstrated how to run from an interdiction in a slow, unengineered ship. ;) But this just goes to show what a world of difference there is between a fully engineered ship and a stock one. Difficult difficult lemon difficult. xD
The other thing with using a beam with thermal vent, is that it actually will make it harder. If you are constantly lasering the titan, it stays in an alert state. Which means being shot at by more things. Conversely if you manage heat and use the asteroid field to hide out in, the 'goids mostly ignore you (until you go for broke on the vents and core again).
Finally got in & did some damage last night. My biggest problem is getting lost in the clouds. That, and trying to figure out which side of the Titan I'm on
I've got friends that own the game and they feel this stuff isn't even an option for them lol! Something about the realism of this game makes it feels not like a game in a sense. Like people sense of self preservation kicks in ha
Is there a way to know if you did enough for the engineered Frame Shift Drive reward? I followed your instructions (and got back to the rescue ship with 5% hull and a cracked canopy) but never get one of those notifications about a credit reward for damaging a titan… Do I need to go back and try again, or am I ok?
I was able to do it with an un-engineered Diamondback Scout, around 6.5 million to build, might be an option for newer players, you do have to know what you are doing though😂
cheeky build - for the new commanders
I wish I had the time to figure out how to get a beluga and type 10 in there 😂
"People with spreadsheets - their heads will be blowing off" Loved that
@@joetriccas I know
CMDR Mechan did it yesterday with an unengineered keelback. On one of his streams
good for him

Great vid! So many new players are unaware that they can contribute and enjoy Titan bombing. I wish I new this when I was new for the first 2 titans
really thanks for the video
you help a lot of people
glad it helped

Many things remained uncovered. Just publish presto-presto while people are looking for unengineered builds.
@@sc0or Ask here for specifics, maybe? Videos don't have to cover every exhaustive step, just let you know it's possible. Then you investigate more.

Oh definitely, but as I explained, that is behind an engineer grind to unlock
Did it today during the live stream for first time, its one of those things that I assumed was in the too difficult box.
Thank you for this video
Ill try it tomorrow. Thx m8 :)
@@ronny2290 it will get you on the board

@@potteryjoe shiny side vent side, ribbed side core side.
@@pisaceneregreat tip thank you, I had the same issue o7❤
I was wondering if I could do this in my un-engineered Python and you've answered that question nicely. Thanks Ricardo!
it will at least get you on the board for the FSD's
Great video for everyone saying they can't participate because fdev made it for advanced players only.
@@dpittman42 exactly Dave
Ok after seeing this I finally tried it in a Krait and it was pretty easy. Thanks for the push o7
Glad it helped
nice job. had a go today meet the rebuy screen twice so made some thargoids scouts pay for it i will give it another go. o7
After 3 Failed T-8 attempts i was thinking of trying my python mk1... now i know i can
I Want to try with a type 10 or beluga... they each have 6 utility points, so more room for heat/caustic sinks
Same build for Krait Mk2, is faster and more manuvrable but half the armor, so limpets repair and xeno
That build lacks cheekiness I think. I’m from the states, so I can’t say for sure…
Currently out in the black, not sure if I can get back in time, but by all the Gods, I'm a-tryin'.
@@normski0457 you can tell presence it with multi crew
One thing about the weapons on the rescue ships; You do need to actually unlock some of them first or you won't be able to buy them. o7
@@valaryc you can do it with AX
Do you power up your FSD and jump out after your bombing run or what?
@@XericSol you can do if you survive long enough
this build is perfect even with engineering the fsd. if you were to do only one engineer unlock that would be the one.
And 'the one' (farseer) will also let you add grade 1 to the thrusters I think? (Been a while since I used Farseer)
How did you get to Cocijo with 75% of your hull?
I would add a 1D repair limpet controller and a 3E cargo rack
Yes, but if you have not unlocked it.....
😎

Would this work with a krait mk2? Tried the python got there second attempt, 2 vents done forgot where to go and boom 😂❤ first time of trying 👍o7
certainly
@ perfect I have an engineered one in my fc, thank you Ricardo ❤️
Everything the Python can do, the Krait can do better ... except carry a bit more cargo.
When will CG award get paid out?
I wonder was you decapitated after the very first attempt? ;) if not, what’s the reward for a single bombing round?
@@sc0or got around 3.5 mill
@ That exactly corresponds to their DPS comparing to shard cannons and their DPS and a reward of 7kk. Not an easy road to 20kk though. Thank you
