In summary, the ingredients: 1 cup of parsley 4 cloves of garlic 2 tbsp oregano 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil 2 tbsp red wine vinegar 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/8 tsp black pepper 1/4 tsp chili powder
Made this exactly like shown, except I used fresh oregano (6+ finely chopped tablespoons == 2 tablespoons of dry) and a bit more salt. Fantastic! This is the one! Make this stuff!
I’ve never been to Argentina but I’ve had chimichurri and that one looks spot on Jared. It really does go so well with steaks, simple and fresh. Awesome job brother!
Hello, may I ask if there is an alternative veggie leaf for the parsley? Just want to cook my mom a soecial dinner that includes bone marrow and chimichurri sauce. Thanks! Your channel really helped me became a good cook during quarantine more power!
Thanks so much Lindon for the kind words. Glad our channel has helped you through the quarantine period! For an alternate leaf you might try cilantro if that’s something you and your Mom are into.
I always but cilantro in mine but I add some lemon juice and lemon zest also. I geuss some people do it differently. Ofcourse I don't measure any more it is alway a little different but it's always amazing.

Thank you.
I think i bought the wrong parsley :(
Chile (or Chili) Flakes, not Chili Powder, which is a spice blend.
I like the way you shaved the parsley. What a time saver!!
An Argentinian approves this, good job!
Thank you!! You have a beautiful country filled with wonderful people. Such fond memories of our travels there.
You really killed it good Sir. I'm Argentinian and I do chimichurri all the time. Very well explained.
Do Argentinians not add cilantro as well? 🤔
This is so useful even for me been Argentinian. Great recipe Jared!
That means a lot!!!

thank you!!!! just what I was looking for.
You could add 1 or 2 teaspoons of paprika to that amount, we do it sometimes, of course that's optional your recipe is correct.
That’s such an awesome recipe 👏👏
Thanks 🙏

Love this recipe 😍
Thank you 😊
Looooove chimichurri!!... Have you tried Al frugoni's dry chimichurri seasoning? You can have great chimi without all the work and it's really good!!
What about the lemon juice!
and coriander
@@mantistoboggan5171 as an Argentinian my family has never used coriander. We use parsley and oregano

Definitely cilantro!
Common in Chile too. Excellent with grilled chicken and salmon.
Minus the chili peppers. What type of parsley? NOT the curly type

I thought cilantro was in it too.

The original Argentina way of making chimichuri does not include cilantro however you can add it if u choose to do so.
Haha Bertolli is the exact red wine vinegar I used for my recipe too. Are you in Canada?
Yep
I just want to eat them now. Can you tell me the taste of it?
What’s the substitute of red wine vinegar?
I’d try champagne vinegar if you don’t have red wine
Or maybe Apple cider vinegar?
onion, lemon/lime, coriander?
Nice submariner
No Fresh Cilantro?
The traditional recipe doesn't include cilantro.
More oil and a bit of lemon
forgot the peppers!
Nothing like a Canadian making a Argentinian recipe, eh? you forgot cilantro
That looks like cilantro
Feel like it's missing lemon
