what would make fairly perfect ostankya to me is making the new region PLESK as a magical forest (its litterally where ostankya got a unique "forest spirit" landmark with heavy secret ties to the widow :o

His start wouldn't suck so much ass if the immunity to Chaos Wastes attrition extended to his entire faction.
It just means you either move at a snail's pace in Encamp Stance no matter where you go with your additional armies, or suffer constant attrition with them.
Kislev armies are super replaceable, just tank the attrition, merge the survivors and buy new units. Attrition is pretty negligible for Kislev especially with patriarchs and hag witches.
Meanwhile Lotv : boris is D tier
for me it's one of my favourite campaign in IE, there is a good amount of challenge early then you are basically free to expand anywhere you want. For instance, I decided to took all other the chaos wastes because Kholek then zathan then vilitch declare wars on me, I was finding myself in Cathay because when I have ended the chaos foes I had to fight Lokhir and Snicktch who was not happy to see me as a new neighbor. Is it really fun campaign for me.
This is terrible take, he literally has no mechanics bar a few stat moddifiers
