Then he dramatically changed his singing style for early Mars Volta which was hard on his voice eventually it was too much. Plus after years of going between shouting and singing for the at the drive-in stuff definitely doesn’t help his voice. Now he sings differently because of it so he doesn’t blow his voice out every time he plays live.

@seiter13 Se liberaron de la encasilla del post-punk y ahora combinan todo, todo lo que quieren combinar, hacen lo que quieren hacer, y si a eso les gusta y hace vibrar a algunos, es porque sienten igual y hasta quizas piensen igual. TMV es mi banda favorita y la verdad es la musica que mas me hace vibrar y de paso divertirme, tanto escuchandola como tratando de tocarla, es un deleite para mi, ademas que son dos tipos muy inteligentes, si solo aparentaran serlo, no podrian hacer lo que hacen.
@Vladimitongo No,no me parece algo malo,los integrantes de la banda necesitan comer y de vez en cuando hacer algo acorde a mas gente,aunque esto lo afeé en cierto sentido,aun así cualquier producto que no entregue Mars Volta es bueno y esto lo digo sin estar informado de sus mas nuevas producciones.
@seiter13 A mi me pasa con TMV exactamente lo que te pasa a ti con at the drive in, la verdad todo, me hace sentir y pensar, y mas que hacerme agarrar una guitarra, me plantea unos cuantos divertidos desafios, porque musicalmente la musica de TMV es mas divertida de tocar ( de escuchar es extremadamente subjetivo ). Ademas, lo de hipter-snob te lo creo, mas en la actitud que en contenido, aunque a diferencia cuando Cedric abre la boca es otra cosa. Como en la entrevista de viva la voz
