I have to admit Commandant Lassard was a key factor as well . I would love to see them try and make another Police academy but there is no way it could ever match the originals . Imagine having Mahoney as the new commandant with new rebel recruits? They would do anything to annoy him but he would always get the recruits back with his pranks twice as badly with Joneses help ?

Golden Rewind you cannot say that they all passed away suddenly some of them had medical conditions such as heart disease and cancer. most of them passed away peacefully with family and close friends with them. The films were great and no matter how many times I watch them I still laugh.
