Yes, those crab pots are great for keys! They are minimal effort and great for early game. Start stocking up on keys early. You will never have too many!
I found it seems like the crab pots produce more keys with the drumsticks too. I get more jelly with the normal meat, so maybe there is an algorithm based on meat types.
So that's a lot of Roos you have to kill every day. Is there a fast way to farm meat? Right now I have a trap route I fly every Late Time for about 20+ Bush Devils. I do Death From Above on all the Jackaroos I see. I have 50 crab traps so I have to kill at least 25+ roos.

An easier trick is to get bush turkeys. They are slower, and you can use the drum sticks in the crab pots. Happy hunting!

Yup, been doing this for awhile now, I got 100 keys in a week I believe, sold 50 to Jimmy.
Should be keeping them to use in the deep mines!

Yes you can get some critterbut junk (old relics) and sea shells are mote common

Use the metal detector to be honest. You only need like 35 or do to unlock everything with franklyn. The rest is just money 💰 🤑
