Really looking forward to seeing you apply these grafts and the tree physiology behind it. How to perform large cuts on maples without dieback is just something that's rarely covered on TH-cam. Have spread the word on UK bonsai forums about your channel.
@@Hiryuen-bonsai-eng On the tree you applied lots of sacrifice grafts to the edge of the wound, how long would you leave each sacrifice before cutting them away? If you leave them too long they will just create ANOTHER big wound for you to heal.
It's always a pleasure to watch your work, Andrea. You are my biggest inspiration in bonsai. Thank you for creating these videos and sharing your knowledge.
@@Hiryuen-bonsai-eng I know is going to be great to see the progress on the tree. Im h going to be learning a lot from you and your videos!. And also I’m learning a lot from your book. Greetings from Southern California!.
Thank you for posting i am looking forward to your next videos. I am a huge fan of your book,do you have any plans to write a book on juniper or pine in the future?
HI Andrea, its so cool your making videos, I've been using your maple book over the past few years for reference. My friend has a similar tree you yours which he sold to me a few months ago (he grew it for 40years), and inspired by your book I'm in the process of mending it. I thought about many different techniques of Ebehara to start the process and finally decided to use air-layers to fill the missing trunk and nabari, this will also give me some branches to use (my tree has damage all the way nearly to the apex).

Thank you!
Maybe in the next life I will 😁
In the future we can think about👍
I have a question about Hime Shara. How do you develope a nice nebari with such fine roots?
Yeah you are right, it takes even more time. Basically the techniques are the same but you have to apply them more delicately
On the wound on the nabari. How do you keep it from rotting without it beings covered with wound paste. Lime sulfer ?
I will explain everything in the next videos👍🏻
I read your maple book recently , amazing ! Hope to see your techniques in real 👌
Thank you!😊💪🏻
Would you mind letting me know the title of the book please . I am looking for a good book for maples .

Ciao Andrea, quella grossa cicatrice alla base in quanti anni andrebbe via con i dovuti innesti?
Ciao, direi un 6-7 anni lavorando bene sarà chiusa

Hi my friend, wish you good work!🙏👍
I think this tree is over the. Nebari limit.
Quit using music. It does not add any value to your video. It is foremostly very annoying.
Thanks for the suggest, me too actually dont like, I only want to share useful contents.
And editing take me way too much time
