I totally agree with you. I am from Canada and then the UK. Moved here near to Veliko Tarnovo in a small village 5 years ago. Love every moment. Thank you for your videos.
Hi Laurie, The quality of your videos and vibrant colors are above excellent. Love them. Your narration is perfect your voice melds seamlessly with the warm peaceful nature of the video content. The timing and meter of your narration is soothing and pleasing to us older or should I say more mature folks. I have always felt your videos were archival quality. I see you have gained lots of new viewers. How wonderful. I am truly happy for you, I enjoy your videos so much. As always, Best Wishes and Warmes Regards. An Octogenarian fan.
Absolutely beautiful videos, every time. So professionally done, always interesting and entertaining . Thank you so much. And of course, you are beautiful.
So choice Laurie. Love the amphitheatre and all. Whenever i'm near ruins of old houses like the ones you share from your village , i find myself wondering about the story of the lives of the people who'd once inhabited the houses. I feel as if i can almost sense the lingering remnants of their feelings from days gone by
The biggest differences I noticed between living in the country or city… is the difference in pace and peace… and the conveniences and unavoidable contrived. I like living somewhere in between… like living near a town or city… for the conveniences… other for the pace and peace.
The Romans certainly built things to last. Our closest city was originally a Roman city. Look forward to seeing more of the farm throughout the year. I end up watching both videos and seeing things I missed in the first one. All the best 🇬🇧.
Beautiful summer sounds and colours 😊 Completely agree with you about rural vs city life Laurie. To me it's sad to see so many beautiful old buildings derelict. We're the opposite in the UK, almost all old derelict buildings have been restored in England with just a few remaining, mostly remote, derelict properties in Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland. But the restorations cause social problems as only the wealthy incomers can afford to repair them.
You asked me if I felt peaceful at my homes location. Yes, when I am at home, but I do live & work in a rushed USA society where everything is accelerated. Most of the jobs in our area are non-union manufacturing , and your production rate is very important to keep your job. Life for at least 8 hours a day is hectic and rushed coupled with impatience towards others. Then you have to drive to and from work and get there on time every day. We are penalized for being even a minute late regardless of the weather.
Believe it or not I have never seen snow on the farm … it’s a HUGE dream of mine but and I’ve heard it used to snow A LOT. So much so that all electricity stops and no one can go in and out of the village. Sadly, temperatures have been rising recently and our winters are quite warm ..
Maybe a collab is in the future? Another TH-camr Alina Mcleod has moved to Bulgaria. You might have to show her the ropes. 😉Thanks for the throwback to summer vids, -12c here the next few nights!
People are more friendly to strangers ,in many countries ,and living overseas fun ,but only downside is making money ..Going back to milking cows ,or keeping pigs ,or hens ,when stop doing it ,as don't need the money and shops are easier than farming ,joking ,But we get out of work ,by even education ,Making easier ways to make money ,and cleaner jobs ..Parents could do blood jobs ,or paint dutch barns high up ,But it having the heart to make a pet ,a meal ,Perhaps only thing i would breed ,and eat be fish ,but if lived by the sea ,have a fishing boat ,Don't think i would have pigs again ,as dad did ,Had 400 pigs ,If religious ,like amish they don't mind been a butcher

Dear Laurie .... I am living in Plovdiv since 20O2 ... this city is unbelievable .. You need at least 20 years to know it all ...
How sweet, my favorite girl in her favorite dresses!

I also live 4 years in Manhattan .....
The chimneys at 12:00 look particularly interesting. Do you know anything about them?
I'd like to see the place in the snow.

Is the blue stone in your village houses natural or painted?
Totally natural from our river! Isn’t that just amazing 🍃
Ms. Laurie, with the history, animals and your adventures...you need to write a children's book 📖 😊 ❤ 🫏 🐥 🐇 👸
Present adults need it more. There never been such ignorant generation as present one.
@staszekgolab9319 Can you make sense of that...what does that mean??
