Pure logic - the Preslav literary school was closer to Eastern Europe, respectivly Russian and other Eastern Slavic languages, which have used the Cirirlic alphabet now. On the other hands, the Ohrid literary school was closer to Croatia and the Glagolitsa alphabet was used in there till the 15th Century. Because the Climent's students spread the Glagolitsa alphabet in Western Bulgaria and Croatia. And when St Naum became a director of the Ohrid literary school (893), he established the Cirirlic alphabet in there! And he was named St Naum Ohridski ! Happy Easter!
